Normies are so brainwashed by expert authority culture that they think ALL doctors are human-supercomputers.
They cannot fathom the reality of ANY bad doctors existing anywhere on Earth and therefore all such stories must be "trolling" or "probably pasta" or a person being "retarded" for not respecting their doctor's brilliant mind.

Doctors only care about money not outcomes.
>>
>>541207569
Now some people have biotech degree and in fact understand what happens in the body better than the medics...
>>
>>541207569
Also: going academic shows you how many academics are still half-retarded...
>>
Isn't it rather foolish to pay a doctor to diagnose you if you've already decided to reject anything he might say?
>>

Normie coping mechanism: reframe it in terms of some invented fictional scenario with assumptions that don't apply, reject their own fictional scenario, pretend it's a good argument.

Continue to avoid the fact medical mistakes aren't the 3rd leading cause of death today.

Fuck I meant to type: continue to pretend medical mistakes aren't the 3rd leading cause of death today.

Well what's the point in even consulting a doctor, in your view?
Isn't it true that doctors will generally harm you rather than heal you?
>>
>>541207897
you've utterly done him

If you increase the success rate of warding off or curing life-threatening illnesses, it only makes sense for medical failures to increase in frequency.

Those same types you talk about always get super defensive when the feds or IRS cops bust some dirty dealing doctor on the take.

All the breeders depend on the judeo-masonic government to protect their tax spawn from Tyrone and Abdul as well as you chuds. Most people are docile breeder wagies who have no interest in any revolution or radical change, never mind risking their life for anything. All they care about is waging so that their tax spawn can survive into adulthood and perpetuate the cycle.

Some doctors I know IRL remember stuff they memorized in med school. Some very much do not.

I remember being heartbroken when my ex told me why she studied medicine...it wasn't to help people. It was for money. Our end was guaranteed by that revelation.

Basically they just have a mental model of what a good doctor should be able to do and just ascribe those qualities to absolutely everyone holding that title by default.
>>541207897
Being distrustful of individual doctors =/= rejecting modern medicine
You need to consult the magic medicine man if you want access to treatment. I do not own a MRI machine in my garage.
>>
>>541208160
Medical emergencies happen and then you're stuck inside the dangerously retarded system of doctors who secured a monopoly on the human body for themselves, and never developed basic accountability because they went too long without any criticism from normies.
>>
>>541207569
Doctors can be fantastic, able to think independently and use their broad understanding to help people, and some simply memorized the current accepted body of knowledge, then regurgitate it. Some are looking to genuinely improve others lives whereas some are just in it to milk money from patients.
A good doctor is amazing and a bad one will inevitably do you harm. Idealizing them as a group is retarded and it’s important to do your own research as well if you can, to ask questions and participate.
>>
>>541208596
So what would you do in a medical emergency?
If the doctors can't be trusted then who are you supposed to rely on to save your life?
But aside from emergencies, what are you going to do to keep yourself in generally good health? Surely you wouldn't trust any doctors, right?
>>
>>541207569
and yet, medical malpractice is the number three bringer of death, behind heart diseases and cancer
that's how retarded everybody is, including doctors
>>
>>541208694
Ah. Now you're seeing the problem of the broken system we have. And it's all the fault of normies failing to demand the kind of accountability from doctors that they'd expect from any other profession.

To answer your question, without an alternative, I would probably go to emergency and then have them almost kill me due to a dumb error (like happened to me last time) and just accept it with a sense of quiet resignation since the world is fucked by NPCs anyway.
>>
>>541208694
>If the doctors can't be trusted then who are you supposed to rely on to save your life?
Literally the #1 question all normies need to start asking themselves.
>>
>>541209183
What alternative would you suggest? I assume that it's realistic.
>>
>>541208673
Google and AI has a thousend times more knowledge than any doctor thats why doctors use it. It became a glorified field like accounting

Credentialism is a universal scourge among the population in light of the US+China bioweapon C19 and it's mRNA experiments. Doctoral intelligence speaks to established literature and the restrictions placed on them by corporate owned boards, insurance, and councils. Anything that could be misconstrued becomes liability so you're offered less than 5 minutes per visit of regurgitated SoP. If you fall through the cracks know that was intended so you can't sue somebody over it. Practice due diligence in seeking specialists willing to risk their reputation to help patients or sadly seek to immigrate to find affordable care. Everybody already knows how to fix this situation, all the regulatory corruption, but people are too complacent and docile to do it.

Live a healthy lifestyle but also accept that your time is coming sooner or later and when it happens there won't be much you can do about it.
>>
>>541207569
I'll explain this in a way where I think everyone can understand
Imagine you're a high ranked player in your favorite game - you worked hard did the grind, earned and maintain the rank
Some Bronze league shitter correctly critiques your gameplay regarding some trivial foley, such as suboptimal crosshair placement
You are standing in the middle of a competitive match and are in the process of maintaining your respectable rank
You may value the Bronze's input but it's unlikely its going to be directly beneficial to your gameplay
The Doctor's just going to shrug and go "That sucks, next time i'll try to click better or whatever"
Some people cope with this better than others

It's the classic retarded monkey needs an expert syndrome.

I've posted about this extensivly in the past. It's in often occompanied by that disability that 90% of people have which rrnders them physically incapable of disobeying a perceived authority figure even when they know they are wrong

Healthcare worker here with some advice for when you actually need a doctor because of internal bleeding or cancer or some other actual medical disease process that isn't "i feel sad":

> the more styled or cool the doctor looks, the less likely they are competent
> you want a disheveled autistic looking Doctor who has difficulty making eye contact, this person cares more about disease processes than social interaction this is who you want
> avoid any doctor where the office looks super extra fancy I'm talking like a fancy hotel. You are just a farm cow to make the office fancier
> immediately hit your doctor with some sideways shit that you would say on the street to regular people wherever you are and if they don't give you a response that makes sense or is in appropriate context, leave

They also cannot fathom that those doctors all started with nothing. They grew into the role, they did not automatically have it. If they say an african can be a doctor, than so can dr. chud.

In the US medical malpractice is the #3 cause of death...
Perhaps the idea of a 'second opinion' is strictly American?
>>
>>541207569
As a biologist, you are very far off the mark.
The problem isn't *bad* doctor, the problem is that even the average-to-good doctor is a fucking automaton trained to *know* and not to *understand*.
Can't fully blame the way they are trained since there is a fuckton of shit to remember, but even the decent doctors are severely lacking.
And despite them having the theoretical obligation to do so, most barely do the slighest effort to keep up with recent development.

Basically the entire issue is that they are just as dumb as your local plumber or cops, just with better memory, and the long schooling time combined with the harsh selection (on the aforementioned memorization capacity) make it look like the profession is one for giga brains. It's not. Oh god it's not. Nothing worse than having to work with a doctors for a project. Holy fucking shit a lot of them are genuily stupid, yet with an ego so fat it would solve all of science's budget issues if we could sell it by the ton.
