I just brewed up a couple quarts of cherry cider, it's about ready to rack. I boil down the cherries and then crush them with a potater masher and then add more water and then sugar, then reboil and cool and pitch my yeast (typically a cider yeast, sometimes champagne for a super dry) and then that's it. With the cider yeast you have to be careful, it will blow up any inferior vessel even after it has almost no sugar left, if you confine it.Cost me $4 in cherries, some yeast, let's say $1, and maybe $1 in organic unbleached cane sugar.
I don't filter it until I rack it, the whole cherries are in there all mashed up.

Question for anons that drink the liquid jew:I've been drinking full flavored beer for the past 25 years, I drink around 8 a night and I'm going to turn 45 this year and for the first time in my life I've developed some fat on my belly and I fucking hate it, I've always been a skelly with small but ripped muscles and now with some belly fat and a belly full of beer I'm looking like I'm pregnant.
