Question time. How many people are breeding? How many people are taking on maintenance roles considered lower tier? How many people are taking on administrative roles in forward facing company sector? Why is everything taking longer and longer to do? Why are roads getting worse, water infrastructure crumbling and power outages getting more frequent? And lastly...How much would it cost to completely change that infrastructure, vs. augmenting the options we have for it's maintenance? A specialized robot will weld you a car every hour, but It can't step through doorways or stairs, it can't climb ladders to fix issues or crawl through sewers, nor can it ride around on the back of a truck and throw garbage into it's rear. Understand this. Humanity is collapsing away from the baseline competency required just to MAINTAIN it's current infrastructure, let alone develop or improve it.
