Its popularity continued until the Ming dynasty and it wasn't banned until the 18th century (!) so after basically 11 centuries before the Brits and Portuguese had the brilliant idea to think it would be a lucrative opportunity and decided on the "Opium Wars". But.. China's propaganda always recounts events differently and pretends largely like China was this innocent flower who had never heard of opium until the evil Europeans arrived and corrupted the heavenly peoples of East Asia and fought wars to make everyone an addict all of the sudden. Meanwhile actual historical accounts sound a lot more like opium use was already routine and ingrained in Chinese society and culture long before Europeans ever set foot in China.So basically, in a nutshell, China has been lying through its teeth all this time while it flooded the United States and Europe with fentanyl and other synthetic opiates and is now poisoning and cutting this junk into basically all drugs its trafficks around the world based on lies.Thoughts?
