So I just bought a buncha USB cable li ked old security cameras off Amazon for $9 a pop on sale, plugged them all into my old windows 8 desktop and use them as a makeshift security camera system. My old desktop has a 1 tb hdd that should be able to hold up to 16 months worth of footage off my 6 cameras at 480p setting. After it fills up, I'll just dump it onto an 8 tb external back up drive I've had laying around unused since like 2019 or some shit.
