The southwest of the state and up through the Champlain valley is ideal cattle/dairy/sheep country. And crops grow amazing there as well. But the northeast kingdom has the coveted black soil. You guys would not believe how productive that soil is. It's pretty incredible honestly. And in the countryside, Vermont is fairly conservative. Particularly in their mode of living. It's s great vibe in Vermont.
