>Americans only have 10 paid vacation days a year
>>
>>541338267
You also get punished for using them all.
>>
>>541338267
I can choose if I want to take my vacation days or get paid for the unspent vacation days
>>
>>541338267
Actually I have 365 paid vacation days every year :^)
>>
>>541338267
It’s not a very attractive country i’ll admit and as someone who lived there the majority of my life I’d be damned if I stayed to be a slave after my disability
>>
>>541338267
Frogposters are newfags
>>
>>541338267
paid days off? what crack are you smoking, we cant even get a paid lunch hour
>>
>>541338267
Nu uh they have unlimited paid time off (you get fired for using your PTO and leftover PTO isn't paid out on severance if it's unlimited)
>>
>>541338267
i have 25, plus all the big holidays
>>
>>541338267

Ive been noticing the Denmark flag more lately making slop threads.
Did the greek romanian and canadian vpns get rangebanned?
>>
The majority of people there are in an unhealthy permanent underclass. Then you have a good reason hate the capitalistic hard work culture. Many people avoid it like my brother who makes tons of money working at banks and never worked in the underclass then you have me who got stuck.
>>
>>541338614
No clue Tyrese, but they for sure cannot afford VPNs here
>>
>>541338715
The smart thing to do is avoid it
>>
>>541338267
wrong. most companies offer PTO based on how long you work at the company. it's not that big of a deal and you Euros could work more anyways - it's why Europe sucks ass.
>>
>>541338267
Thats just not true. I checked my employment agreement and it says I can take 23 paid days off. This does not include holidays.
>>
>>541338614
No sadly I think it's just some of the jeets we have imported finding employment
>>
>>541338826
If you had to check, it means you aren't using the days off, which is because you are implicitly not allowed to use them

I'm an uneducated shit-shoveling peat-gavel and I get 30 mandatory paid vacation days + holidays, including a Christmas bonus and an extra vacation paycheck

Why the fuck does anyone anywhere gets paid for NOT working???

I have 25 paid vacation days per year, 5 paid sick days, 2 floating holidays, and somewhere around 10 or 12 official holidays.

Poors and browns don't deserve paid time off because they are useless.
>>
I have 7 weeks
>>
>>541338984
No nigger. I do take them. The problem is if you have already used 20, and want to take off 5 more days, you essentially have 2 unpaid days off. They dont tell you when you've ran out of PTO and you only notice when your check is short.
>>
>>541338824
>most companies offer PTO based on how long you work at the company. it's not that big of a deal
it's a big deal because it's tied to seniority. also it's still not enough. i get 22 days + 12 holidays + 5 sick days + half days in the summer. it's not enough.
>>
You don't get paid for vacations, the time off just gets accounted in your wage. You are being paid less than otherwise would be the case
>>
>>541339110
You mean young people starting out
>>
>>541338267
So?

Should be zero.
Paid days off are just forced days off - you're paying for them yourself on the days you do work, I rather get more pay and choose how many days I want off.
>>
>>541339005
Guess again lol

My first job out of college gave me 200 hours of PTO per year, and I could carry unused time over. Try again.
>>
>>541338433
lmao the jews really did a number on you
>>
>8 days paid vacation a year
Literally Zimbabwe tier
>>
>>541339330
Are you intentionally disregarding my argument with a circumstantial anecdote of not being gainfully employed prior to «college»

Wait…fellow burger aons, you guys are getting paid vacations?
>>

Skill issue
>>
>>541338521
I'm doing 12h shifts, but got 4x30min paid breaks.
>>
>>541339455
You said young people starting out. I was young and just starting out, and I got 5 weeks of vacation per year, not counting holidays.

You don't get paid for being useless and replaceable in this country. Try learning a valuable skill.
>>
>>541338521
When I worked retail during uni, I got 15 mins of forced breaks for every 3.5 hours worked
>>
>>541339464
Suddenly now that I paid to get a degree I am treated with dignity and respect in the workforce. I still don’t want to go back. Everybody I know that actually likes America avoided the underclass. I guess I should have done the same instead of starting early for some allowance.

>>541338267

What kind of bullshit job do you have, anon.
(Be honest.)
>>
>>541338267
0 mandated by law, but as long as you're somewhat valuable and aren't too disposable, the PTO tends to be OK... I get 20 vacation days, 3 sick days, 3 floating days, and 2 personal choice holidays, + 8 holidays. Total of 36 paid days off a year... Can't complain.
>>
>>541339615
Okay, cluster B anonymous sounds like America is a perfect fit for you but I will disregard your opinion on the basis of personality dysfunction which not everyone shares. Also useless to whom exactly? I’m human capital I have value in the workplace. I think employment isn’t supposed to be useless or negative but here we are.
>>
I think Americans should show what useless/negative value really looks like lol
>>
>>541340015
His point was that if you flip burgers for minimum wage and can be replaced almost instantaneously, you can't expect to get a ton of PTO because PTO in the US is a job benefit that's supposed to entice employees to want to work somewhere. If you're unskilled and easily replaced, why would anyone offer you great benefits? And no, you don't have inherrent value in the workplace just for being a warm body. That's retarded euro bullshit and you know it.
>>
>>541340222
Not true. I can be trained and educated like I have. What you’re saying isn’t in line with reality.
>>
>>541340222
>great benefits
getting more than 10 days off in a 260 working day year isn't a "great benefit" in most of the world. it's an expectation guaranteed by statute.
>>
>>541340222
I am noticing things with your post which confirms what I don’t particularly like about your country. Glad to not be apart of it anymore. Have fun.

In a week, I’ll have my three weeks of summer vacation, and I’m not going to do anything. I’m just going to stay home and do nothing
>>
>>541338267
And. They're loaded as fuck and retire at like 50.
>>
>>541338267
>paid vacations exist
What the fuck? You're telling me companies will actually pay you to take a vacation?!? I've been a wagecuck since I was 16 years old, I've NEVER had any time off unless I was sick (but that times was held and accumulated over the years and used when I really needed it).
>>
>>541340520
Sounds fucking boring
>>
>>541340631
That doesn’t sound healthy at all. I got treated better working unskilled labor at a family friend’s organic farm. It was hard work but it was more healthy than the other choices.
>>
>>541341034
At my job, doing that or taking time off, slacking, not being efficient, or downright not coming in to work puts extra strain on my coworkers. It's something someone simply has to do.
>>
>>541340631
Yeah we get 6 weeks paid vacation a year like 30 paid sick days if needed and 6 months paid parental leave if you have a kid as standard in EU (even burger flippers)
>>
>>541342168
That's insane and I want to shoot myself. I got a maximum of two weeks for a life threatening surgery.
