Post war europe has for some reason baby booms, so what we need is war, we need strugle to rise out from it, we need a harsch climate to make us strong and less naive, we need compitition of our own calibre. I think colonialism is a result of a struggle of survival, if you capture more land you have more resources to play with and more people you can tax, countries that don't do colonialism do not get such benefits and wont be world leaders. What we need is fierce old ass compitition that made europe a powerhouse. All these rich nations bundled together and look how weak they have become, they gave up on their identities to serve to collective , they gave up their armies because it became one power, they are not trying to be the strongest of their neighbours.
