>As of August 19, 2026, Donald Trump has added approximately $3.8 trillion to the gross U.S. national debt during his second term.
>About 29% of the entire U.S. national debt was accumulated during periods when Trump was president.

Legislative branch—the United States Congress—holds the purse strings on spending. Not the president

>"Party of Fiscal Responsibility"
It's a corporatist globalist Uniparty.
That votes (Congress) in unison, lock step, every year for $2+ trillion spending bills. All of the muh drumppphhhhhh, muh tranny, muh ___________ REEEEEE-EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEeeeee slapfighting on /pol/, social media, or wherever about any topic at all *doesn't matter whatsoever.*
Congress' fiscal policy, along with decades of monetary (treasury+central bank """printing""") policy in lock

This isn't a political topic or issue. It's a governance question about the Legislative Branch of the U.S. fedgov that continues to enslave the citizens of America to the (devaluation of) default global reserve currency denomination and central banks. Lockstep monetary+fiscal policy for decades, that now has brought the U.S. Treasury to brink of total default which will occur four years from right now (unless annual gdp growth rate can somehow be brought into the 6 or 7 percent range, that isn't even physically feasible and doesn't matter anyway because the global debt market that is founded on the UST won't last nearly that long).

4channers are fucking brainlets.
