Fresh food makes up a small amount of staple diets in most places, compared to dried beans, rice, grain, corn, etc. But now Russia has shut down the Ukraine's export port for grain, which they had formerly left largely alone. Ukraine grows like a quarter of the wheat and barley and corn, lentils, you name it, that's used around Europe and Africa now. And fertilizer inputs are down all over the world, so yields will be smaller this year. IMHO the issues with produce are because Mexico is using night soil now, other countries too. Produce hasn't hardly gone up even though it's the first thing to see a yield cut due to low fertilizer input. Stuff like lettuce which grows in 30-50 days. That's where it'll show first but it heasn't.Anyway the SHIT is already hitting the fan but only in ways which low-IQ people won't see. Deenz shortage is related to Hormuz, lots of deenz canneries get cans from China or from an aluminum concern in Dubai which is offline now. India, however, has way too many people and no place for them to go that either wouldn't nuke them to stop them or doesn't have enough food to be more than a speedbump anyway. Pakistan and China are complete no-gos, and places like Bangladesh would get overrun but even if they stripped it bare only the first wave of indians would get any food out of it and the billion more indians behind them would still starve. There will be some migration, but its more likely that India devolves into disorganized civil war until the population shrinks to what their food supply can support.
