Would moving to the USA be a good idea? Hows life there nowadays? I ran the numbers and its not looking too good. Say you got a 50k/yr basic job, that's 4000$ a month, rent is at least a quarter that, food another quarter, car payment and gas and bills and whatever is another quarter, then taxes for the last quarter, and thats the whole money lol. You work just so you arent homeless and dont starve.
Not to mention ever saving 20% of however much a house would cost to put down as downpayment without PMI or any other bullshit

You guys are fucked, believe it or not comparatively life is actually cheaper and easier here in Romania, it must explain why so many westerners move here in ever increasing numbers.

And if you'd say i should find a girl/a wife, then that's also fucked cause your society seems to be collapsing and the genders hate eachother, forming a team with a woman to build a life seems like an impossible dream, we're way better in that regard as well.

How do you guys even manage to live?

The cheapest apartments around me are $2,100 / month so it's a lot more than a quarter of your income if you're only taking in $50k (at which point you're basically resigned to live in the projects)

Is that actually true or is that just a loud minority blown up by social media and Malthus-Feminist academic media?

Like the 4B "Movement" in South Korea, it only has a few thousand "likes" but the vast majority of South Korean women still desire a man, even if they basically self-sabotage to find ons. I think that Feminism is just a loud minority movement with an enormous speaker in the form of every communication method of society.

That actually sounds like a nightmare.

>Would moving to the USA be a good idea?
No. We are extremely low trust place at least where I live. Sure it is better than other places like India, but in terms of social trust we are at the bottom of the barrel.
> 50k/yr basic job,
in certain areas of usa that is a very high salary, a lot of it highly depends on where you live.
>>
>>541359474
south korea has had 0,7 kids per woman born which is the lowest on the planet and if they keep it up the country goes extinct in under 100 years
>>
>>541359505
It is. When I was in my early 20s I spent two years in relatively cheap apartments in Oceanside, California and literally every single night was kept up with my Mexican and black neighbors absolutely BLASTING ghetto music till 3-4am. Police wouldn't even respond to any noise complaints.

Why did you choose to remain in commiefornia? isnt it overrun by blacks and the woke crowd? sounds like hell

>>541359512
Where do you live? The main thing that makes the whole move feasible is living in a nice place, where people are respectful, theres no garbage on the street, everyone respects eachother, theres peace and quiet and some kinda economic opportunity (i would open my own business)
dont tell me there isnt such a thing anymore and thats gone
>>
>>541359708
>Where do you live?
North Carolina. I would say the general the state's large cities are where most of the low trust stuff occurs. In smaller areas it is not so bad but there isn't much economic opportunity there
>>
>>541359230
Im basically just front row seating the fall of 3rd rome. Waiting for some emperor to blow my face off with a shotgun when performing for a crowd

With a $4000/month W2 income you can afford an apartment that is $1333.33 a month. Apartments require you to have triple income to qualify. They will require you to also deposit first months rent plus damage deposit and have a good credit score of 600 minimum. Many apartments require you to have rental insurance. Then you have to pay $150-200 a month minimum on utilties. Food is like $200-300 weekly. Gasoline is $50-150/week depending on commute and model of car. Car insurance is like $100-300 depending on driving history and area. If you rack up speeding tickets the main issue is insurance not the fine.

Your health insurance is from work for single coverage will be $150 and not cover anything unless it's like $5k over. Also good luck getting a job that will give you enough hours to qualify for health insurance. If you lose your job your medications will be $300 a refill for a 28 day prescription. God forbid you have diabetes or retard pills. If you need to have government insurance you can't make more than a certain amount and only shitty providers cover it and premiums are rising quickly.

The only places that have rent that cheap are shithole cities or the hood with multiple roommates that has lots of maintenance issues and crime. A girlfriend/wife is one way to make this cheaper but has other hidden expenses.

We have too many weird foreigners now.

Everything is too expensive, pajeets and muzzies are being shipped in like crazy by corporations wanting to cheap out on labor and fellow pajeets/muzzies. It's gotten so bad that Mexicans don't even want to come anymore, the spics coming in are the Mexican's Mexicans; somehow even worse. It's unironically over. I'm lucky enough that I got into the job/home market before everything truly went to shit, so I'm in a "fuck you got mine" position, that I hope to use to hoard as much wealth as I can so that my kids can afford a home.

Live in affluent (or even middle class) white areas and you're good

I make like 40k and I've just accepted I'm not moving out of my parents house. At least the mortgage is paid off and they don't charge me anything, but it's depressing that I put what little effort I did into college and work to just end up still living in the same room I did 25 years ago anyway. I'm demoralized as fuck. I'll never have a family. This is all just fucking pointless.

Got any tips on how to figure out what those may be? I'm planning on visiting first, gonna walk around at night here and there. The place im looking at says its 65% white and 22% black, i guess thats not good

>>541360970
A house for 300-400k doesnt sound like a lot if you find a wife and you get close to or over 100k combined income, it seems to be doable in most places except ny or la

We're fucking full you dumb shitskin

you are currently full of indians, you should be happy to have a white man to help balance the ongoing invasion because you guys are too retarded and got too many stupid gender studies degrees and now you have to import pajeets

You're right, median income ($50K) in the US isn't enough to really be self sufficient or raise a family by yourself. Is median income in Romania able to be self sufficient or raise a family by yourself?

If so, Romania relatively better off than the US in terms of living index and purchasing power. If not, Romania is not that then
>>
>>541362099
I didnt even get into raising a family, i just did some math to live by yourself as a single adult.

and yeah over here you can definitely rent an apartment and buy food and basically live and have some money left over, whereas in the US it doesnt seem to be the case in most places

The fucking audacity
>>
>>541362171
You absolutely can live by yourself on median income in the USA, just not thrive. Can't really buy a mortgage, can't really support a family without also having your wife work, can't afford more than one car loan, etc
>>
>>541359230
>rent is at least a quarter that, food another quarter, car payment and gas and bills and whatever is another quarter, then taxes for the last quarter, and thats the whole money
Dont forget the 25% for your health insurance thay doesnt cover anything until you meet your 8k yearly deductible

Just a side note - a lot of people have a really wrong assessment of California, particularly people who have never been there.
Yes, certain parts of it are an absolute filthy hellhole. But people don't realize what a large state it is. It also has nature, small towns, perfect weather, and areas with great quality of life. Go to the less famous beach towns, for example, and life couldn't be better. There's a fantastic brewing scene, as well as wine. And one thing a lot of people don't know about California is that it's Central Valley, where I'm from originally, is one of the farming capitals of the world. It's also about as conservative an area as you'll find in the US.
Point is, it's not all ghettos and Hollywood and shallow folks. A big part of the problem, though, is that the cities have a huge influence on the state government and so it tends to run liberal. But a lot of the state remains magnificent anyway.

If they keep it up for a generation then natural selection is going to favor the minority which wants to have kids regardless of propaganda.

Houses and mortgages require mandatory home insurance that has become very expensive due to all the fires, floods, and hurricanes.
Then they also require regular maintenance like a new roof. The mortgage is only 2/3 the cost of a home. This was ignoreable when real estate was constantly going up increasing equity, but prices are already reaching the point most of the population can no longer buy in so the dramatic equity increases of the last 30 years won't be repeated.
