Assuming it were legal, of course and keeping it realistic, since most of us aren't elites who can just marry into wealth. you'd probably be looking at the kids of friends, family, coworkers, or other people in your circle. Would you take that chance or you would let them choose themselves once they grow up?

If you can't/won't trust your grown-up children to make good decisions then you're a failure as a parent and incompetent to make better decisions for them.
If you complain about our "low-trust society" then realize where it begins: with you.

Marriage no longer exists as a religious institution (its original purpose) and is living out its final days as a social institution, it is useless

Yes. My wife is from Mexico and our kids came out very Spaniard (I’m half Spaniard). I’ve arranged marriages with a few friends. I have all boys. These friends have all girls. It just makes sense.

My sons have way more common sense than I did at their age and since I was from the tail end of the leaded gasoline era they'll probably be far, far more intelligent than me once they're older. If I tried to choose for them I'd probably fuck it up bad despite best intentions. I don't think I could do it to them.

Because females have proven, even with great parenting, to make the best choices

Arranged marriages were for the best honestly. Best case the family/financial arrangement also gains love, worst case you both just take a lover on the side for that.
>but that's cheating!
Once the heirs are secure it's not relevant. Still not ideal sure but better than divorce and/or insisting you both lie.

I'm not saying parenting is easy, but trying to excuse parents by saying
>They were really great (or at least not terrible) despite how terribly their kids turned out
is to deny the entire goal of parenting.

>it is useless
