This happened in the early 2000's. Haiti had a rice shortage. The US government dumped 10 million tons of rice or something like that into the country. So rice was essentially free. The country's small little rice farmers all went out of business, and it's just been one famine after another ever since. This is a bad idea. But our overlords know what they're doing. Total collapse of cattle farming is what they want.
