Wolves are good too but they overheat way worse than us so they typically need to be in very cold climates for that type of hunt.Imagine though that you are a prey animal and you see some weird alien thing running at you. Its jogging at like 1/4 of your speed, so you just run away, you run until you cant run anymore and off in the distance you see it still jogging in your general direction, no matter how long you run it never tires the way you do, its so hot its hard to breathe and you feel like you are going to pass out but it doesnt seem affected by the heat. You need to break line of sight and hide, hiding is the best you can do, you cant run forever but it can.
