This doesn’t seem to be the case in Netherlands, where you might be served food or coffee, yet the next day an invoice with a payment request link will arrive in your notifications. They even have an app for it called Tikkie, which creates payment links and bills their guests with ease.

There’s cases of people who used the bathroom in a Dutch house and got a tikkie request to pay back €0.20 for using the toilet paper.

Why are the Dutch like this? I’ve never been invoiced by a Flemish person on the other hand and they’re practically the same people
