What Plants do (You) want to hybridise as a project?
Oranges count btw as Citrus × sinensis!
>plantscia and BLM
>>541394053your moms cherry
>>541394257I had a feeling this usage of "Plant" would come up. Poisonous weeds if anything.
>>541394335Actually popped in a cycling accident she told me about it.
Come on Anons do you aspire to anything?
>>541394053I'm trying to cultivate columbines. I've heard they hybridise on their own. Is there anything I could do to make them hybridise, besides collecting different colours and plant them next to each other?
>>541394053I know nothing of hybridization, I just water and fertilize things and they grow.
>>541394053Something jews like to drink in tea crossed with something that’s extremely lethal would be pretty good
>>541395022That's true, very diverse genus. >>541395149Cross pollination in layman's terms.
>>541395332Am content with everything as is, but would like all citrus to be more cold-resistant and able to tolerate otherwise insufficient sunlight. Also for Mediterranean pines to be more cold-resistant.Also for pic related to go away forever. Send it all to israel.
>>541395261Poisoning is incredibly easy to trace, however if you hybridise two closely related poisonous plants with different properties, it would be harder to trace.
>>541395498Hybridise an Ichang Papeda with a Trifoliate Orange, would be extremely cold tolerant. As for Mediterranean Pines, just cross-pollinate with a more cold tolerant species.
>>541395502It would just have to be enough to poison one decently sized batch of kikes and i’d already be pleased
We typically hybridize the africans and the europeans as a joke
>>541396458This is a thread of peace.
>>541396606It's been done too often, I mean everyone knows the result by now.
>>541396749The effectiveness of the propaganda is waning. But we're already going on with our contingency plan.
>>541396940Honestly the issue divides Black people more than it does White people.
>>541394053alternanthera sessilisit grows wherever fertile water flows, it's nutritious and freethere must be many hybrids already
>>541397250Interestingly none are native to India but for some reason many were introduced to India.
>>541397884but some gentleman said ancient indian ayurvedic text mentions the green variety (the most common one) for healing all sorts of ailments and nutritive value... so atleast this must be have been from native india... as i see it, this plant can cause a revolution
>>541398370Actually you're right, my mistake I misread it was introduced to India but has a native global tropical distribution. Which is quite unusual for a genus.
>>541394053Certain white oaks are theoretical with each other. One very interesting mix comes to mind that no one has thought to do yet that I will not be revealing until I have done it lol. Catalpa and Bignonia sp. vines are likely not compatible but with some technological methods it could be worth a try (and would be fascinating btw). Callicarpa Americana with a arborescent relative could push beauty berry over the line to a persistent deciduous tree form. Goat's Rue with a more woody relative could potentially result in a relatively heavy flowering persistent/deciduous pea shrub type of thing. Major longshot, but Sweet Gum could theoretically MAYBE work with witchhazel. Again it would be fascinating but unlikely. ...anyways I've gone down all these avenues, the best bet is just looking for weird/interesting sports of flowering trees in the woods. Less interesting but far more valuable.
>>541398820if people (tropical living people atleast) start consuming this green plant on a daily (or alternate days no pun intended), then i truly believe all their health complications will reduce drastically and they will be in a position to heal themselves without any external medications and procedures.it is a wholesome plant, I always let them grow when they come up along with other plants grown from seed, they seem to provide a stability and absorb excess nutrition, the soil is always much more healthier after it's lifecycle completes at the end of the year, "the healing of earth and healing of oneself is a unitary process" - some gentle man whom i don't remember at this moment but will after
>>541399422My own project is to hybridise Myosotis macrantha with Myosotis pulvinaris. >>541399434Oregano is my go to plant when I am ill.
>>541399422I think the more interrsting route is not just mixing two things per se. youre looking for "threshold" plants. What I mean are interesting plants that need a small nudge toward lignification/tree form etc. So that they go from a perennial to a persistent deciduous shrub or tree. Youre not trying to make something new youre trying to nudge something past a threshold.
>>541399683Aside from messing with the oak hybrids, I generally just look for interesting wild sports of flowering trees in the woods. Weeping forms, weird forms and habits. I have come across a handful of strange ones over the years.
>>541400042>>541400270The unique thing about the South Island Forget-Me-Nots are that they all descend from a single species which diverged in the Pleistocene. I hope to get a form like the Cushion Forget-Me-Not but with the flowers like the Bronze Forget-Me-Not.
