That's about 3.5% of annual inflation over 31 years for the crunchy taco. Probably pretty close to nominal wage growth.

it all tastes like shit now too.
I remember when encharidos came with 3 black olives on top. That shit was worth every penny. Today, literally everything has been exploited; every corner cut. shaved, trimmed, exploited for the least quality while trying to profitmax the most dollars. This happened in the 1970's when the founder of KFC sold his franchise and recipe to a bunch of kike investors. When Sanders found out how (((they))) completely cut corners, ingredients, and destroyed his recipe for profit, he litterally called it SLOP

this (see image) is what Taco bell once was. Now that a bunch of kike investors have bought it, cut corners to minimize time and soul to give you the soulless goyslop for maximum profits, that's the only taco bell you know of today, goy. Just read this post >>541400139

The Taco Bell near me pays 17 bucks an hour. Surprisingly good for a fast food place. I know this isn't true everywhere. Minimum wage was around 4.25 in 1995. Back then if you worked for an hour you could get maybe 6 tacos after tax. Today you could maybe get 9 for working an hour. I feel like housing, utilities, car prices and maintenance are actually fucking things up the most when you add everything together.

For me, it’s the Beefy 5-Layer Burrito with extra lava sauce. Every time. Sometimes two if it’s been a rough day.

I always ask for extra fire packets—minimum of six. One time I asked if they had any Volcano Sauce left over (I know it’s discontinued), and this guy behind the counter looked at me, smiled, and said:

“You’re that guy who always asks for the pain, huh?”

I laughed and said, “I like to feel something.” He goes, “We’re calling you Volcano Guy now.”

Now it’s a thing. I walk in, someone shouts, “Yo! Volcano Guy’s here!” They start piling up the fire packets without me asking.

I go at least 4 times a week. Sometimes more if the craving hits.

Last Tuesday I ate three burritos and woke up at 3AM with what I can only describe as rectal glass. I had to crouch in the shower with the water on cold and grip the towel bar like a deathbed confessional.

But the next day I went back.

Why? Because they remembered me. Because they called me Volcano Guy.

That kind of respect… that kind of identity… you don’t get that everywhere.

Pain is temporary. Recognition is forever.

I don’t eat Taco Bell for the food. I eat it to feel seen.

I honestly saw tacos memed so much by americans (TACO TACO TACO) throughout the years that I thought it's a problem with me, I can't find good place to have them or / and they aren't prepared as they should.

Then I went to Canada and later USA. It wasn't me. Tacos are really fucking shitty bottom of the barrell goyslop.

I don't understand how anyone can like them, especially when other stuff from texmex and real mexican exist. For fuck sake, we have burritos and quesadillas.

So then I became wary of americans. I observed them, studied their ways. And gradually I started to hate them.
