I’m watching a ton of Canadian normies, even some Americans, scratch their heads over why Trump keeps bullying Canada. They see it is dumb and retarded, but they still don’t get the man. Every other president looked at a mutually beneficial trade deal with Canada and saw a stable, secure pipeline of cheap energy and natural resources. They thought, “This is good for the country.” Trump looks at the exact same arrangement and thinks, “We’re the stronger one, why the hell are we giving them anything?” The fact that a weaker Canada walks away with any benefit at all is, in his mind, proof they’re ripping him off. He’ll tear up any agreement on a whim, cheat on his wife, and use the office to line his own pockets. Previous presidents were just suckers for not doing the same thing.
