I've never had an issue with any Pole but speaking to a lot of boomers at work, eastern Europeans are still the scapegoat for "foreigners" in the UK (even though nearly half of what they consider the "native" population is foreign itself). It's like boomers are simply unable to drop the concept of civic nationalism, it's their religion. My coworker complains about Eastern Europeans commiting crime here all the time, then the next minute shows me a video of "based" Andrew Tate saying some bullshit.
