If what you've done is really that bad then you shouldn't be free. If it isn't really that bad that you should be free with all the rights of a freeman. Probation is an unjust concept. Setting somebody "free" but not giving them the same rights as a freeman is unjust. You're either free or you're not. There is no middle ground, that is unjust. I can't be bothered to look into how these concepts first came around but I can plainly tell you, and you should be able to also tell, that they're unjust, and it seems others agree because I've seen the rolling back on several of these unjust concepts of late, not as much as the should but it's a start.

Nonviolent people shouldnt be punished after getting out of jail and probation. The prison sentence should be the punishment, and when its over you should be free as everyone else
