No, leave Iceland alone.

No, unless you snowniggers want to be replaced too. Leave somewhere untainted in Europe please.

Why would you
>>
>>541468372
You should probably ask Iceland about that?

Sorry Lambert, nobody volunteers to join the US. I'm not trying to insult anyone. I lived there for some years, mostly West Coast around 2011, Obama years. It's a fucked up country. Everyone I know, who lived there, moved back to Europe or Australia or New Zealand. Things have really changed in these 250 years. But best of luck.

just volunteer to join Norway as a dependency instead, they have enough to take care of themselves and then some, get the danes, greenland and faroe islands onboard as well and establish yourselves as firmly neutral. It's better to be part of them then being under the yoke of incompetent bureaucrats who fashion themselves leaders in Brussels

I’m generally very apolitical and neutral and maintain centrism. But a lot of Icelanders here are sick and fed up with the inflation here and want to get rid of the krona get the Euro instead.

Thats just one perspective. Feel free to enlighten me.

It makes sense, you'll have lower inflation, but the EU will also force you to take in migrants from third world countries. You have to balance all these factors for a decision.
>>

I don't know if it would reduce inflation, it depends on two things.
1. Check whether average prices in the EU are actually lower than in Iceland. If they are a lot lower prices will increase. If they are higher prices will increase for you (due to shared market). Afaik. A lot of eastern euros got screwed by this.
2. If the rates of the central bank in Iceland are way different than that of the eurozone, they'll have to adjust a lot. If a euro economy runs hot but the euro zone average is in recession then you'll get a lot of inflation because of too low rates

* I meant lower, then prices would decrease in point 1 ofcourse
