Everyone I know, who lived there, moved back to Europe or Australia or New Zealand. Things have really changed in these 250 years. But best of luck.

>>541469435I don't know if it would reduce inflation, it depends on two things.1. Check whether average prices in the EU are actually lower than in Iceland. If they are a lot lower prices will increase. If they are higher prices will increase for you (due to shared market). Afaik. A lot of eastern euros got screwed by this.2. If the rates of the central bank in Iceland are way different than that of the eurozone, they'll have to adjust a lot. If a euro economy runs hot but the euro zone average is in recession then you'll get a lot of inflation because of too low rates
