These things are getting pretty good, so if they get good enough to start replacing people, they're making sure they have enough data centers to deal with the demand of every corporation liquidating every white collar worker all at once. At the moment, even jobs that can be replaced with AI won't be because the most performant models are more expensive than actual people for the same amount of work (mostly due to how token-happy good models are). Though I'm not really sure if the first order thinkers that run most companies consider what happens to consumer demand in that scenario.
