>casually blown the fuck out jewish monopoly on oil>no more 100 million dollar turbines to turn that into electricity>no more subscription to oil and natural gas for business owners>all you need is pay a couple pajeets to maintain this once a weekWind Turbines are based as fuck.
>>541493259we need to oil to make them work
>>541493259Think of the heckin boids that suicide on the turbine
>>541493379Oil chads win every time
>>541493379That's like 0.1 percent of oil you ever need. This ain't about climate change.
>>541493259renewables suck ass. Nuclear is the only feasible way forward
>>541493259lol. wind turbines are literal toxic waste, still use oil, don't last nearly as long as advertised, murder the fuck out of birds, and are often noisy. nuclear is the way to go and even solar is better than fucking wind turbines.
>>541493797>Nuclear is the only feasible way forward>15 billion for a reactor>Takes a decade or two to build>Might kill millions if somebody drones it>Workers develop 25 different cancer due to radiation exposure >Nuclear waste has to be secure in a vault for 1000 years or else it will kill everyone Nuclear is the most jewish option.
The anti-wind turbine hysteria is fueled by ignorance and big oil money since the industry was artificially suppressed in the 1930s by FDR's Rural Electrification Act that subsidized big utilities over individual homeowners. Before then, wind turbine sales were growing IN THE MIDDLE OF THE GREAT DEPRESSION. And outside of the US, Germany invested heavily in wind power after 1933 such as inventing the Reichskraftturm (half kilometer tall wind turbine) that was only curtailed because steel was needed for the war effort. Himmler planned for every German town and village in Eastern Europe to be powered solely by wind turbines.
>>541493808>literal toxic wasteA nuclearfag calling anything toxic is peak irony. It's easy to spot shills like these.
>>541493876>what is Thoriumshow flag kike
>>541493876Someone should put retards like you in a vault for 1000 years
>>541494108>>541494122Good luck keeping nuclear poop for a million years in a vault lol.
>>541493797If thw whole world switched to nuclear then all the uranium wpuld be gone within 20 years. Energy wise we are fucked once the oil runs out.
>>541494055Germans knew.
>>541493379spit on that thang
>>541493876almost none of that is true. Japan has like 18 nuclear power plants and is the size of California which is ONE fucking state yet Japan has some of the healthiest people on the planet.
>>541494209Based
We run out of most the recoverable oil in 40 years. You cant really make/install these wind turbines at scale and cheaply without petrochemicals and diesel machinery.Without oil, wind turbines literally go back to the old wooden ones that were used for grinding a bit of grain or pumping water.
>>541494158dude, the Earth is fucking HUGE. And we can, and often do, blast shit out into space. Human technology did not just suddenly halt bro. We ARE going to keep learning shit and improving shit. If we invested even HALF the fucking money into nuclear tech that we piss away in AIDS and foreign AID we'd probably be recycling and re-using "spend" nuclear rods by now
>>541494359AI will fix it. Solar for local production and Wind for industrial.
>>541493259On the face of it wind turbines seem terrible. Vulnerable to no wind, shut down when too windy, and the price. There doesnt seem to be a point of break even and profit, free energy, cheap bills. Its pretty clear at this point = green energy, higher bills indefinitely. Everyone was sold a lie. Thats the problem, they were sold as "cheaper energy" but the reality is well actually, you will pay higher prices forever, but hey ho, its cleaner bud. Well, who agreed to that.
>>541494486>Vulnerable to no windUK exports surplus to NORWAY>shut down when too windyGears exist>There doesnt seem to be a point of break even and profitIt pays itself while oil inherently is an uphill battle>cheaper energyOil, famously a cheap means of power generation. Especially today right?
>>541494360But we didn't. Nuclear power would have been awesome to have in 1980. The fact of the matter is that nuclear power cannot compete with wind+solar+batteries today because the latter has 40 years of research and practical deployment while nuclear power relies on designs from the 70s and 80s which have never been built. You can also scale solar+wind+batteries a lot better too because you don't need to deal with nuclear waste, siting the plant in the right location, spending a decade-plus building the plant, and dealing with a small army of armed guards. You can literally power most buildings and businesses locally with solar panels (or wind turbines in some areas), lose basically nothing to long distance power transmission, and not be under the thumb of the utilities or the government deciding to turn your power off one day.
>>541494682I live in Minnesota and I guarantee you solar ain't doing shit here for a significant portion of the year. Our weather destroys its effectiveness and god forbid a hail storm or tornado rolls through. We have nuclear powered submarines that have been in operation for decades that can run for 15+ years without refueling. Nuclear tech did not stop in the 80s, it went secret and stayed in the military.
>>541494682lmao fucking idiot
>>541493259if turbines were truly profitable, they'd be used.they aren't, so they're not.
>>541495203GE Vernova. Sounds familiar?
>>541494166>once oil runs outthey've been saying that since the 60'severyone says oil is the result of decomposed dinosaurs, but hasn't shit been dying and decomposing the whole time since then?spoiler alert oil doesn't run out.
>>541494887Minnesota is sunny half the year and the other half is windy. Of course a hybrid system would work, especially since in reality you have batteries like sodium-ion batteries. Nuclear energy has seen no improvements since the overbudget 1980s era designs were cancelled. Even submarines and carriers use outdated designs. It makes no sense to spend hundreds of billions researching, building, and operating nuclear energy and dealing with nuclear waste or supplies in shithole countries like Niger when the solution already exists today.>>541495097If wind and solar were so bad, then China wouldn't be carpeting the Gobi Desert and every high hill with them.>>541495203Centralized energy took over because of government subsidies. The free market in the 1920s and 1930s favored home wind turbines until FDR spent taxpayer money subsidizing central energy grids with the Rural Electrification Act.
>>541493876Fusion, which should be the end goal, doesn’t have the waste fission does. Fusion just has a byproduct of helium, which were coincidentally also running out of But the truth is there’s no reason not to have nuclear supplemented by renewable
>>541495323no.
>>541495450lmao biden subsidized the shit out of turbines not long ago and nobody bought them.
>>541495450It's not just a matter of sunlight or cloudiness. There is A LOT of thermal cycling in our climate here. What happens is things get cracks, fissures, and chips and in the winter you'll get snow cover, then the snow melts into water, that melted water seeps into the cracks and fissures during the day, then at night that water and moisture refreezes and when water freezes it expands and destroys. This is why roads in the midwest are such shit, it's a product of physics and climate and wouldn;'t be a problem in a place like Arizona or Nevada but completely fuckign retarded in a place like Minnesota, Michigan, Wisconsin, etc. Your solar panel might last 10 years in Arizona but that shit won't last 5 years here.Go ahead and put as many wind turbines in the desert as you want. It is a fucking desert, who cares? The problem is they put them in places where birds migrate and where people live nearby. They are a fucking eyesore, can be noisy, and if you have ever seen one self destruct they can be quite fucking devastating and deadly.
>>541495499They make wind turbines and ship globally.
>>541495450also about the 20s and 30s wind turbines. when you only need to power some fucking light bulbs they are probably adequate, but they sure as fuck were not going to power AC units, refridgerators, computers, heaters, etc. You cannot compare the electricity needs of the 20s and 30s to the needs of today. That is fucking absurd. A 100 hp V8 in the 30s was a fucking beast of a racecar, today that shit is an econobox that is dangerously slow.
>>541495455Fusion is demonic
>>541493379we can use the fat grease from dead wiggers to repay their debt to society
>>541495728do people buy them or governments?
>>541495420>oil doesn't run outTrue but buying it pays for jews though.
>>541496397wha?! Isn't all the oil drilled out of places like arab nations, norway, canada, venezuela, and places like that? Kikes run the banks and the banks run everything to an extent but I'm pretty sure the oil industry is not ran by kikes. i guess you could call them sand kikes because muslims are not all that different than jews.
>>541496039Literally anyone can buy it. They make the best ones.
>>541493797Nuclear has basically the same problems as oil, limited supply and mostly found in insane or hostile shitholes.
>>541493808>murder the fuck out of birds,Trucks kill a lot more. No one actually gives a shit.
>>541496858Cats kill more birds than wind turbines.
>>541494158You literally just store it in an abandoned mine and it gradually decays into nothing.
>>541496895They kill more than every other man made source combined
>>541496823>limited supply and mostly found in insane or hostile shitholesThe fuck is that retardation?https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Charlie_SteenThe fucking uranium rush in America ended in less than a decade because everyone found so fucking much, more than we'd ever need.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LW9hwoaJXgw
>>541497030An earthquake would poison all of world's fresh water.
>>541497130Based cats
>>541498015do people just not understand how fucking gigantic this planet really is?! Not to mention we could just blast spent radioactive rods deep into space. Deep space itself is more "radioactive" and dangerous than any fucking element on this planet.
But what is inside Vestas Nacelle?
