I've been thinking about this subject a lot lately. Bumping for interest and more input... The case that fully convinced me finally after a long time was the Ariel school incident in South Africa. You can't convince me that incident didn't happen. Once you accept that at least some of the reports of sightings and abductions are real, it really impacts you. Hoaxes are PROBABLY the minority, and at least 51% of the accounts out there are legitimate. Insane to look at the stars at night and imagine that many of those suns probably have habitable worlds bearing life. And that during those worlds' people's interstellar transit, they scope us out because we're fucking crazy and reaching a turning point or fork in the road. Ready to either begin exploring space in earnest or completely obliterate ourselves, maybe forever. If I drove by that, I'd stop and take a look. It seems that there are many, MANY species from as many places. Some with good intentions, some with bad, and all with their own agenda. Harrowing. What comes now?
