Sixth major heatwave of this summer 2026!

This time it will mostly impact SE Europe and Greece, with Terronia (Sub-Rome Italy) being boiled today too!

Some NEWS from France; lowest potato yield in 30 years (probably since 1976).

https://www.potatonewstoday.com/2026/08/24/french-potato-production-could-fall-23-as-drought-and-heat-cut-yields-lowest-yields-in-more-than-30-years/

16k excess deaths due to heatwaves in Germany this year:
https://today.rtl.lu/news/world/germany-reports-record-15-800-heat-related-deaths-this-summer-671960306

The Guardian is saying for now the death toll for Europe is 35k, but that's old data completely disregarding late july and august.
They also say that in may and june 2877 individuals died in the UK because of the first two heatwaves. Are 35-36°C enough to kill almost 3000 people in the UK?

https://archive.is/20260825095614/https://www.theguardian.com/environment/2026/aug/25/at-least-35000-excess-deaths-europe-back-to-back-heatwaves

People who die in heatwaves belong mostly to the following groups:

1) Migrants (due to low IQ)
2) Boomers
3) Schizos
4) Low IQ "people" in general
5) Chronically ill and obese individuals

So in a sense the heatwaves are having a eugenic effect on Europe's population.

https://www.wired.com/story/heat-wave-schizophrenia/

As you can see on the Humidex map, there's already two red zones currently only in Sardinia and Terronia, Italy, more or less like yesterday!

thats a dumb excuse though, how difficult would it be to create a auto-retract cover for places with high risk of hail like this? (very few places, btw)

its a weak argument
>>
>>541564899
Yeah, because giant hail is super common everywhere solar is use. Kill yourself, mossad shill.
>>
>>541565137

It now happens at least once every 5-10 years in the average place in Switzerland.
Yeah you can mount a motor with a self-retracting shield but it costs more.

Heat? No it's literal hell on Earth particularly Lombardy
Hail? In the NW part there's a ton of storms and hail.
>>
>>541565372
You have lakes, and mountain getaways, don’t you?
>>
>>541565576
Yes, it's a lot better to go to an Alpine lake at 2500 m compared to driving 5-6 hours through a literal steam oven to arrive in pricey and overcrowded places in Côte d'Azur or Ligury with heatwaves too.
>>
>>541565552
So Piedmont will be safe, safe from heat, don't care about rain and shit.
>>
>>541565696
If you're in an alpine valley like the Val di Susa above 1000 m and not directly in front of a melting glacier yeah it should be fine.

Just a reminder:
2027 is projected to become the hottest year globally in millennia, possibly in the last 120k years (only the last interglacial maximum aka the Eemian period would beat it, current record after the interglacial is from 2024 and a couple other years after 2019 very close together).

We will eventually also beat that interglacial period's record if climate continues in today's direction.

Yes, that's true, Vojvodina and southern Serbia are two completely different climate and geographic zones, although i've travelled around Serbia (i live in Belgrade btw) and the climate wasn't that different in the southern and northern parts. Of course, cities are the worst because of the concrete, bad urbanism and not enough parks, but then again it was 30+ for weeks even in higher altitude rural areas.
