Right wingers feel a desperate need to project strength because our present status is one of extreme weakness. This explains why they latch onto Trump and prioritize "owning the libs" over meaningful political gains.Little has been achieved under Trump and the little that has been achieved will be undone within the first month by the next administration.The high IQ thing to do under the present administration is to get organized so we can defend ourselves when the Democrats regain power. Unfortunately, this is unlikely to happen so it will take 10 years to get organized and another 30 until we have the strength to overthrow the regime.
