ITT we discuss politically relevant literature. This can include novels, biographies, and manuscripts. Discussing scientific reports is discouraged for this thread. Note to Jannies: This thread is intended for /pol/ audiences therefore does not belong in /lit/.>FormatTo start a dicussion leave the tital, author and a short sentence describing the relevance and genre of the book and why anons may find it useful to read. You can blog post the most relevant passages and quotes, clearly leaving your own comments and arguments which can subsequently be discussed in replies. The overall format for these threds is a WIP, do what feels best. I simply want to get this idea started. There is so much distraction and timewasting on this board today, let's be productive outside of narrow generals. Take it away.
>>541571400Im reading this
Machiavelli The PrinceBy Niccolo MachiavelliProbably a cliche start but important read for newfags. This book is a must read for everyone. It is studied in business school, law and by pretty much everyone who ends up in positions of power. It's essentially a guide on aquiring, maintaining amd wielding power without losing it. >Important question in the book:>Is it better to be loved or feared? For Machiavelli, a person wielding power should seek to be both loved and feared, but know exactly what face to show in the required circumstances. You must understand that goodwill alone is never reliable as interests always change. At the same time, fear, while useful, must be controlled. Cruelty that is excessive or arbitrary creates hatred, ultimately toppling your base of power. This idea very succinctly outlines the basis of a powerful personality. He makes it easy in this passage to understand the factors which make someone respected and obeyed. Love and fear. Not one or the other.

>>541571400>Title: Land of Four Flags>Author: Wilbur M. Cunningham>Relevance: About the early colonial history of north midwest (specifically Saint Joseph River). Has many primary accounts detailing important families, settlers, and chiefs who interacted or fought.Favorite Passage: A letter praising a french missionary who died -- "And so ended the life of a great Christian, who ignored comfort, safety and health and braved the dangers of the wilderness to educate and lift up a people that could not help themselves."

>>541571400this seems like the right thread to ask. I recently heard about a novel set in europe. It starts with a muslamic terrorism and the muzzies think that all the other muzzies will join them in rising up and conquering europe but they instead get their shit pushed in. White Europeans get together and remove kebab. AI refuses to answer. Anybody know what I'm talking about or did I dream all this up?

>>541571400Pol doesnt read, if they did they would know just how Jewed up the entire medium is. It makes Marvel and AAA games look based.A few years ago I got into "self help" books, not because I need saving or shit (the usual crowed that reads it), but because the psychology of one self interests me. For example the popular one "Atomic Habits", it was a fun read on how our brain works.Oooh boy was I not expecting the rabbit hole that I got into once I was done with Atomic Habits. I have never encountered something so Goyslopped as other books. I quickly got into reading about "Charisma" I was curios about what it actually is and how would you measure it scientificaly. MY GOD, every single book is felatioing celebrities, Billioners/Millioners and other Jews. And I dont mean the books praise them (brining up celebrities in a topic about Charisma makes sense) they full on deep throat them and talk about them as if they are demi Gods. Some of the worse slop I engaged with in my life. Makes the Avengers look based...
>>541580607Homework for /pol/ Pick a book that looks interesting, start reading it and come back next thread to share what you learned.>>541580641Yeah books are a medium for propaganda, especially today it is so obvious. Nevertheless they are a perfect way of absorbing useful information. Let the books ITT redpill us further.
