If attention is a commodity, surely then we can pay people for it? This is the foundation of the rank 1 Mordhau player's functional UBI system.

concerning.

the basis of ubi is that it comes without any farming, trading attention, etc. and the entire premise is to give everyone a basic minimum to offset otherwise poverty or poverty and lack of opportunity and their effects, also ubi has been tried and studied dozen plus times, but by now, probably more, although it's never been global or country wide in the local or regional places it was tried it worked in that it didn't lead to inflation, and even after being stopped fkr 5-10-20 years the economic stimulus still has a significant impact there.

Even for "effortless" UBI, you still need to presumably apply for it to get the money, then routinely check in to prove you're alive. If the free market delivers a "basic" income, surely the outcome would be identical to UBI (provide competition to the job market, reduce financial pressure etc)?
