Russia only became a Superpower due to the USSR, so when the USSR collapsed Russia went back to being a Regional Power.

Russian Empire was in the same league as the standalone British & French Empires. If Britain & France & all the non-Russian European Empires had teamed up against Russia, the Russian Empire would've been destroyed.

A combined EU & France & Britain Alliance will thus defeat Russia in any Military Conflict.

Its simple math my dude
>ukraine says their population is currently 22-25m (https://spzh.eu/en/news/93036-its-a-catastrophe-social-policy-minister-reveals-ukraines-population-figures)
>a country can mobilize a maximum of 15% of their population based on historic total wars (half are women, then old men and boys, as well as needing doctors, farmers, factory workers, etc)
>ukraine therefore can mobilize 3.8m men total
>ukraine military is 800k, which is the minimum they can go down to and still hold a front line, so they can suffer a total of 3m casualties
>ukraine is losing 30k soldiers a month from all causes from death to desertion
>3m/30k=100 moths or 8.5 year, the war is in year 4.5 so they have 4 years of men left.
Russia has 25 years using the same formula so there is no path to victory for Ukraine unless the completely change to a different strategy

>Russia only became a Superpower due to the USSR
Wrong, If you would read about URSS you would know that it was the second Globohomo empire after the Habsburgs. Everything bad that is happening today to whites was happening to European soviet citizens. They literally had to send Russians, Belarusian, Ukrainians, Balls, etc. to the eastern parts in order to uplift them and bring them into the 20th century. It was clear for anyone that URSS was western part keeping everything east of the Ural afloat.
Inb4 some cope. Go check all non white soviet scientist. They all had an army of European soviet scientist doing all the work. I can get also several noble prizes if you give me an army of scientists and make them give me all the credit at gun point.

The USA & USSR were the 2 superpowers that split the planet into 2 different spheres of inluence. Britain/France/Netherlands/Spain, etc. were not superpowers, they had to compete with each other.
>>
>>541584413

Greece was a race mixing globohomo empire, Alexander wanted to assimilated Middle Easterners into Greek Culture. The Romans did the same thing: Early Iron Age Republican Romans clustered with Southern French while Late Imperial Romans clustered with Cypriots (who are closer to Saudis/Bedouins than they are to most Europeans) due to mixing with Middle Easterners/North Africans. Tacitus & Juvenal in the first century were complaining about Rome 'swarming with Syrians'. Spain/Portugal in the tradition of Rome & Christianity engaged in the greatest level of globohomo planetary race mixing ever, they turned 2 whole continents into majority mixed race continents overnight.

Yeah but URSS did it at an extreme level. The reason URSS went bankrupt was because they were bankrolling niggers in Africa thinking that said niggers will manage to create a society like the Soviet block. Unfortunately for the soviet leadership niggers in Africa aren't capable to achieve anything more then a ghetto brutal dictatorships with daily mass execution for funnzies. I'd the URSS and the Soviet block just concentrated on Asia they would have still been around today

>The USA & USSR were the 2 superpowers that split the planet into 2 different spheres of inluence.
That framing more accurately describes Britain and France from the middle of the 19th century to the early 20th century when they mogged the rest of the globe and even fought several wars together.

After WW2 the US and the USSR became adversaries pointing nuclear guns at each other while the third world made a point of not depending on either side. Very different context. I wouldn't even call the US a superpower until the wave of Anglo-French decolonization was over in the 60s and the US reneged on the Bretton Woods agreement.

No, the European Powers were banned from the Americas south of Canada by the US per the Monroe Doctrine. Britain, France & the Netherlands were only allowed to keep minor demilitarized lands, only Canada was armed.
>>

You are already lying from the first point because the 22 - 25 million figure was a single minister who had his claims rejected by others. Russia's population is also lower than reported, by a significant amount considering they are already having labor shortages, admitted by the minister of labor, and need to bring in 11 million workers (sic) due to the war deaths, which at the high end is estimated to be "only" 500k, and 230k confirmed.

Its the Ukraine minister in charge of demographics. There are only 22-25m people in Ukraine, 6-10m have fled and 3-8m live in areas captured by russia, meaning russia has already replaced all of their losses. The remaning 11m can come from ukrainians when they conquer the rest of it. Some will flee when the front collapses but not all. Russia will 100% win this war within 4 years unless ukraine builds nukes or gets europe to join. The math is so easy a child could do it

The 22-25 million figure was rejected by other Ukrainian government officials, retard, and there are not 8 million people living in occupied territories, the occupied territories is depopulated rubble. There are also not 10 million refugees, retard, unlike total population which requires a census refugees are easily tracked through asylum applications and border crossings, which come to 6 million refugees.
41 million - 6 million - 2 - 3 million - ~200k dead from war civilians and soldiers is already 10 million more than your claim. Stop posting.

>No, the European Powers were banned from the Americas south of Canada by the US per the Monroe Doctrine.
Lol no they weren't. Virtually all of Latin America used the French LMU system or the British Pound for international commerce, while their legal system was based on the French Civil Code, to cite a few examples of enduring influence. The Monroe doctrine was just that: a wishful policy, not yet a reality. Case in point: it did little to prevent Napoleon III's military interventions in Mexico, and was only invoked as a contributor retrospectively.
>>
>>541588126
41m was the last census in 2001. The agreed on prewar estimate is 35m. 6m have officially fled and are living in the eu and Ukraine admits 3m are living in occupied territory. Ukraine ministers says 22-25m are remaining in Ukraine so that means the missing 4-7m have either fled illegally or are still living in occupied Ukraine or some combination of the two. Sorry this hurts your feelings but wars are not football matches where the team you want has a fair chance of winning, they are fought with logistics and demographics and Ukraine simply has zero path to victory
>>
>>541588132

That's because the British Pound was the Reserve Currency at the time. The US also used the Pound for International Transactions.

But since I already proved you wrong on this point what do you think of Russian labor minister claiming Russia needs 11 million new workers (immigrants) by 2030 due to severe labor shortages (caused by the war)? >The Liberals were backed by the US & they won the Mexican Civil War, which then led the Conservatives to ally with France to invade Mexico when the US was distracted with the US Civil War.
Do you understand the difference between correlation and causation? The republican government was indeed overthrown thanks to the French who had to withdraw primarily due to growing turmoil on the European continent, ultimately leading to Napoleon's exile to England, not because the US smuggled a bunch of muskets across the southern border.

Superpowers did not exist for majority of human history. Retarded argument.

History had like just a dozen of such countries, and no, they did not compete with each other. Tang China, Rome, Mongol empire, Arab caliphate, USA, USSR, Napoleonic France, now it's communist led China again. Maybe Ottoman Empire at it's zenith. And that's it. Countries with semiglobal reach and such regional dominance what large coalitions are required to counterweight them. And that's it. Nothing wrong being not being on this extremely short list for eternity. No one does, or will. Tall blue eyed russian chads were part of this list, and this is achievement good enough.

>when the USSR collapsed Russia went back to being a Regional Power
Russia right now is most certainly a major great power with largest and modernized nuclear stockpile, most powerful armed forces on the continent and essentially infinite natural resources. Russia will wield even more power and influence after the it's victory in the SMO
>if Britain & France & all the non-Russian European Empires had teamed up against Russia, the Russian Empire would've been destroyed.
They literally did exactly that in the Crimean war and the best they managed is carving out a chunk of land in modern Romania
>A combined EU & France & Britain Alliance will thus defeat Russia in any Military Conflict.
Modern EU and Britain are a collection of anemic military midgets with no military projection, industry and resources, ridiculously inferior to the British or French empires of 1800s, or even the early 1900s, led by histrionic gynocentric bureaucracy and held together only by their collective vassal status to the United States. Without complete and total commitment from the US, they will get throathfucked and curbstomped in any conventional confrontation with current Russia, and cease to be military, economic and political entities if they will get stupid and suidical enough to escalate said conflict into nuclear domain.

Look at the Wind Direction Map, if Russia nukes Europe, the Radiation Clouds are going to rain over Russia. Russian Nukes are designed to target North America. After Europe pushes the Russians out, Russia will target the one neighboring nation it has never attacked, the USA/Alaska. Turks preferred to stay in East Asia, but they were forced to march West after they were defeated by China. Russia will be forced to march West & cross the Bering Strait & attempt to conquer Alaska with Nuclear Weapons. The US & Russia won't do Mutual Assured Destruction over remote Alaska & Siberia. The irony is that the only reason why the US has Alaska is because the Russians were afraid Britain/Canada were about to conquer it, so in order to spite Britain, they gave it to the US. The Russians have been sucking up to Americans like Lincoln, FDR, Reagan, Trump, etc. for centuries. If Canada had been allowed to take Alaska, there would've been no direct war between the US & Russia, but now due to Alaska being part of the US, Russia has no choice. Alaska is remote enough to the point where the radiation clouds won't have much of an impact in more heavily populated regions.
>>
>>541591862
>>541583159

The Radiation Cloud that emerged after Chernoboyl had to be taken down by the Russian Air Force, the French would nuke all the Russian Air Bases in a Nuclear War.
>>
>>541591576
Wanking on Moscow as a target, as nafotroons do, is meaningless, first any war has preparation period, during which population will spread. Second Moscow has dedicated antinuclear attack missile ring since USSR. Third focusing missiles on one target will change nothing, it will be actually detrimental overall, as 50 targets struck by nukes is better that 10 targets struck by the same amount of nukes, radiation clouds through winds will poison more land.

No one will escape the nuclear war, and no one can be victor in it.

Russia-Ukraine War is the War of 1812 part 2. Every last parallel matches up. The US & Canada were the same nation before 1776.
USSR collapse & Russian invasion gap = 30 years
Treaty of Paris & War of 1812 gap = 29 years
Catholic Western Ukraine & Catholic Quebec. Russia-Ukraine war caused the split in Orthodoxy (Kyiv Patriarchate) the way 1776 caused the Founding Fathers to ban Anglicanism & create Episcopalianism due to King George being head of the Anglican Church.
British/Canadians were funding native tribes to attack American settlers on the frontier the way NATO has been funding Ukraine to attack Donbas settlers.
US called proto-Canada a fake country belonging to the US, but Britain fortified proto-canada long in advance & Britain/Canada fought off the US invasion & denied the US a buffer state in Canada. Same dynamics are playing out.

Putin uses Astrology & Numerology, you know that, right? Biden announced his support for Ukraine in a speech given on 2/22/22 at 2:22 PM & Putin launched his invasion of Ukraine on 2/24/22. The Ukraine Drone Warfare Tactics inspired Hamas, which helped Hamas get past IDF Defenses on 10/7 after Hamas decided it had to stop the Abraham Accords after Saudi Crown Prince MBS in September 2023 went on Fox & said he was open to normalizing relations with Israel. 10/7 caused Trump to surge in the polls over Biden. Harris was down in her internal polls the entire time, that's why the Biden/Harris team was loyal to Biden because Biden had at least won once before. The real election was Trump v. Biden. Trump went on to become the second incarnation of Grover Cleveland. Cleveland was the 22nd & 24th US president while Trump was elected as NY Populist Cleveland 2.0 in 2024. Biden was the 46th president to Benjamin Harrison's 23rd presidency. What's even more fun is how Fundamentalist Jews & Christians like to call Trump Cyrus the Great 2.0 & it was in the year 224 where the Sassanid Empire was founded to resurrect the Empire of Cyrus.

When the Republicans were threatening to defund Ukraine in April 2024, that's when Iran hit Israel & at that point Netanyahu called up Mike Johnson & ordered him to pass the joint Ukraine-Iran spending bill. The Gulf Arabs were allied to Putin as part of the 2016-Trump-Russia-Saudi-Israeli Grand Bargain Talks from which the Abraham Accords emerged. Netnayahu told Trump to consider 'Trading Ukraine for Syria' as part of the negotiations. Russia was feeding intelligence regarding Iranian Forces in Syria to Israel. That's how the Israelis took out Hezbollah so quickly. UAE Companies were supplying Russia with Iranian Drone Parts until the US-Iran War forced the UAE & the Gulf Arabs to forge an alliance with Ukraine in order to counter Iranian Drone Technology. There's an interesting feedback loop going on between Ukraine & Iran.

Many Cultural Memes in Modern Life are based on Astrology. The 18/21 Adulthood Age Concept is based on the Climacteric year concept from Greek Astrology. Pythagoras performed analysis on astrology (a part of astronomy before the modern era), numerology (a part of mathematics before the modern era) & mathematical patterns based on musical tuning analysis to state that 7 was a magical number. 3x 7 Climacteric Years = 21. That's the origin of 21 Age of Majority Theory. The Normans used Astrology to hike the Age of Majority to 21, previously, the age of majority was puberty in Britain. In regions of Britain governed by Celtic Gavelkind Law, the Age of Majority was 15, while parts of Britain governed by Saxon Germanic Tribal Law had the Age of Majority set at 12-15. The Age of Majority was later lowered to 18 due to the Vietnam War Draft Issue.

The concept of the 'Fourth Turning' is derived from Astrology as well. A 'Fourth Turning' is a revolutionary event every 85 years aligning with the 84 orbit of Uranus, a phenomenon known as a Uranus Return & the authors of the fourth turning concept also note the 21 age number as the number to determine the maturity cycle.

>Adapting agriculture to climate catastrophes: the nuclear winter case

>Following a nuclear war, destruction would extend well beyond the blast zones due to the onset of a nuclear winter that can devastate the biosphere, including agriculture. Understanding the damage magnitude and preparing for the folly of its occurrence are critical given current geopolitical tensions. We developed and applied a framework to simulate global crop production under a nuclear winter using the Cycles agroecosystem model, incorporating ultraviolet (UV)-B radiation effects on plant growth and adaptive selection of crop maturity types (shorter cycle the lower the temperature). Using maize (Zea maize L.) as a sentinel crop, we found that annual maize production could decline from 7% after a small-scale regional nuclear war with 5 Tg soot injection, to 80% after a global nuclear war with 150 Tg soot injection, with recovery taking from 7 to 12 years. UV-B damage would peak 6–8 years post-war and can further decrease annual maize production by 7%. Over the recovery period, adaptive selection of maize maturity types to track changing temperatures could increase production by 10% compared to a no-adaptation strategy. Seed availability may become a critical adaptation bottleneck; this and prior studies might underestimate food production declines. We propose that adaptation must include the development of Agricultural Resilience Kits consisting of region- and climate-specific seed and technology packages designed to buffer against uncertainty while supply chains recover. These kits would be congenial with the transient conditions during the recovery period, and would also be applicable to other catastrophes affecting food production.
>>
>>541598050
>Six nuclear war scenarios with varying soot injections and a control scenario (table 1) were simulated, driven by the CESM simulated global meteorological conditions [7], with the Whole Atmosphere Community Climate Model version 4 for its atmospheric component, the Community Land Model 4.0 as the land surface model, and the Parallel Ocean Program v2 as the ocean model. Soot transport and removal in CESM is simulated using the Community Aerosol and Radiation Model for Atmospheres , in which soot is treated as fractal particles. The size of particles can change through coagulation and sedimentation and removed through gravitation or precipitation. For the India–Pakistan war scenarios, the soot was injected above individual targeted urban regions. For the global war scenario, soot was injected uniformly over the areas of Russia and the United States. In all scenarios, the soot injection lasts about a week, after the initial disruption on May 15. The spread of soot in the stratosphere, however, is rapid, and can engulf the hemisphere in days or weeks. Thus, the simulation results are not sensitive to the exact locations of soot injection. The control scenario had 19 simulation years, with each simulation year resembling the Year 2000 conditions with some perturbations. The simulated 3h meteorological conditions were aggregated to daily temporal resolution to drive offline Cycles simulations. For details of the CESM simulations refer to [25, 26].

>>After soot injection, precipitation, air temperature, and solar radiation decreased immediately compared to the control scenario, making maize harvested areas drier, colder, and darker (figure 1). The meteorological variables were averaged for the global rainfed maize areas, and since the Northern Hemisphere has more area dedicated to maize, the spatially averaged variables are biased showing higher air temperature and solar radiation in the northern summer. The extent and duration of these effects relate to the amount of soot injected. For the most devastating 150 Tg scenario, precipitation and solar radiation decrease by as much as 70% globally, and air temperature drops by over 15∘C a few years after the disruption. Soot in the stratosphere absorbs solar radiation and heats the stratosphere helping deplete O3. Simultaneously, soot absorbs UV-B radiation thus shielding the surface from exposure. In the 5 Tg regional war scenario, the shielding effect of soot dominates soon after the war, reducing UV-B radiation. About one year later, the depletion of O3 and the deposition of the soot allow UV-B radiation to reach the Earth surface at levels above those of the control scenario. UV-B radiation returns to pre-disruption levels after six years. In contrast, in the 150 Tg global war scenario, UV-B radiation initially decreases significantly due to soot absorption, but after six years, UV-B radiation levels surpass the control as soot decreases and the depleted O3 allows the transmission of UV-B radiation. The UV-B levels would peak in Years 8 and 9.

What happens when the EU beats Russia? Britain/France can nuke European Russia if Russia nukes them back & even if Russia nukes the EU it's guaranteed destruction for Russia because the Radiation Clouds will drift east to Russia as Russia is downwind of Europe. The Chernobyl Radiation was on the verge of raining on Moscow until the Russian Air Force downed the radiation cloud. The Russian Nukes are designed for the North American Continent.

My bro, Thanks for shitting up the thread with the effects of thermonuclear war on planting season but the guy was talking about the possible radioactive contamination. Which can be an issue if your enemy invents a new warcrime by picking inconvenient isotopes to deal with.

Drones today could be dropping radioactive caesium from medical devices onto the battlefield or in cities and good luck if one goes undiscovered and thousands of people could get minor or mayor radiation sickness.

realistically, if the eastern bloc reformed like china and vietnam did, what would be /pol/ and general right wing discourse about them when seeing supposed commie countries in eastern europe doing based things like keeping the population majority white and promoting a patriotic culture like china does with the han chinese, for exmaple imagine communist poland being 99% slavic poles (it literally was in real life) but also having a market economy that improves life standards and the government still being authoritarian and nationalistic while just covering it up with commie symbols

Lenin's Revolution was funded by Jewish/German Financiers. The Russian Empire lost everything & became the USSR, which was built up by Stalin during WW2, the US also critically assisted the USSR with Lend Lease.

Good Lord the goalpost moving. Next you're gonna claim French Guyana isn't actually south of the US and their marine and infantry regiments haven't been posted there for over a hundred years? Idk why you're trying so hard to shoehorn the US into all those events at a time when its influence was obviously minimal.
