The assumption is that god's morality/goodness is reflected in his creation and behaviors like animals eating each other are excluded from this judgement because things like that are necessary, if you accept that assumption why then many animals can engage in same sex intimacy when it's not a necessity for them to function? Also, how would you argue against it to someone who doesn't believe in your god or doesn't believe in god altogether.
