I have sat in on hundreds of court cases (I won't say what role I play, for my own safety). I saw a 78 year old man sentenced by the judge to 9 years in prison for drinking a beer on his own front porch. A death sentence essentially. The reason is because his neighbor was the district attorney and owned a mansion, the DA wanted this man's farm land and claimed the man's lack of an upkept house and hillbilly drunkard behavior was "lowering his property values". So, in a conspiracy with the judge, they sentenced the man to prison for nothing. The DA began paying the taxes on the man's vacant property and quickly acquired it for himself. The man nearly certainly died in prison though I never investigated that.For my own protection I am forced to say this is a LARP, merely a creative writing exercise.
Another thing (once again, a LARP, i am forced to say, totally made up story for entertainment purposes, not real). Local man sued the local judge, they arrested him for no reason, then beat him to death in his jail cell that night, then declared it a suicide. Literally said "he beat himself to death"
