I am no longer a libertarian. Our culture worships freedom and personal autonomy, and "individual rights". Western civilization is now dominated by liberalism, post-modernism, multiculturalism, self-will, hedonism, degeneracy, wealth, pleasure and we are severing our connection to God as we fall into nihilism. This corruption plaguing the modern West is a sickness. Something will fill the void that is left by nihilism, if people no longer worship the true God, then they will worship idols in His place. There is only one path we can take. If we are to reverse this decline, if we are to revive Western civilization, this revival can only come from a culture that has chosen to worship the true God once again. Your government becoming more tyrannical won't aid you spiritually, especially not if you're in government or one of those who desires that they brutalize people. It's fine to be upset that people do with their freedom that which you disapprove of, but to say that therefore you or someone you approve of deserves to take that freedom away is just plain evil.
