Would be nice to have a country

The problem is I do not support America because America in reality is not the America people seem to imagine that never actually existed and the closes it ever did was forever before I was born. I hate the US government so there is no way it can ever deserve to be supported

It is impossible to be patriotic about America unless you have a great imagination

Do you mean what country is the AMERICAN Mark Twain referring to when he says "country"?

No. I mean we don't have countries anymore. We have economic zones now. I don't know what its like to have a country. But I bet it would be nice.

Fair enough, but I would invite you to study Thomas Paine, who was the principal architect of the "noble America" ideology that ended up being used by the unscrupulous majority of the Founding Fathers and most people afterwards as the false facade or dogma-propaganda that the whole damn planet has been relentlessly indoctrinated with as "the real America"

Pick up a copy of "Thomas Paine and the Promise of America" by Harvey Kaye, and then "Thomas Paine and the Dangerous Word" by Sarah Marsh, and then, finally, "Thomas Paine, Author of the Declaration of Independence" by Joseph L. Lewis

Thomas Paine is who gave us the noble ideological America right from the start, and then all the rest of the scumbags just used it as a cheap facade to conceal what became the REAL America of total moral hypocrisy from that point on...

Oh, okay -- I see your point now

What we seem to have now is a two-fold condition of what the Japanese call "honne" and "tatemae"

Look into those concepts and enjoy nodding your head vigorously in agreement
