THE US (UNITED STATES OF AMERICA) JUST GOT ACCESS TO 500B BARRELS OF OIL FROM VENEZUELA
>>
so this means gas will go back under $3 a gallon

right?
>>
>>541611203
cool, but we can't do all the refining
we have to import refined fuel
that's why prices are high
>>
>>541611203
65 Billion*
>>
>>541611203
Cool can we irradiated and eradicate the sand niggers with no consequences now?
>>
6 million!? Oy vey!
>>
Of sour crude. Sandy, salty. Requires extensive refinement. Difficult to pump. Difficult to use for much more than asphalt.
The oil there is useless without expensive treatment.
>>
>>541611543
still better than no oil
>>
>>541611203
A barrel of oil just flew over my house!!!
>>
gas cost $0.13 per gallon in venezuela before the US invasion. but they'll sell it to us for $4

Cool it with the anti-semitism!
>>
Those are barrels in the ground in a country where no company will invest and would take 3-5 years to build out the network to actually pump it
>>
>>541611271
lol
lmao even
>>
>>541611271
Right?!?!?!?!
>>
>>541611203

In 5 to 10 years probably, it will take them that long to build new refineries or make changes to existing ones to process that type of shit tier oil
>>
>>541613820
>so Americans are going to benefit from this right
I'm sure its a top priority
>>

>Ron Paul used to be the coolest guy on this Lithuanian baked goods forum
>now he is mocked
How the mighty have fallen
>>
>>541611543
That's not altogether true. It is harder to process, but all of those impurities (except maybe salt) have major commercials applications. They don't just make roads with it, they separate the tar to make asphalt, and you still have fuel. This is the kind of petroleum that's also good for plastics
>>
>>541611203
The funniest thing is that the ones whining the loudest are the traitor democrats. Venezuelan government and even the opposition groups are conspicuously silent. Even funnier, Maduro's former stooge Rodriguez was the one that brokered the deal.

>>541611543
It's better than Canadian tar sands crude. That shit needs to be diluted with kerosene to even get it pumping into a pipeline. And it still takes up 1/5th of all US refining capacity. This is another reason why Carney absolutely fucked us with the trade deal blowout.
>>
>>541611271
Considering that oil is fucking trash and there's basically no industry to extract it and it'd take ten years to build it up, I'd say this is just migger cope over the embarrassing defeat at the strait of Hormuz
>>
>>541611271
You can have all the barrels in the world you will still need to refine them
>>
>>541611271
Well uh let's just like uh wait and see because uh these things take time...
