The fact that Venezuelans were literally begging for a foreign power to get involved and overthrow their government - and even now see that foreign rule as superior to their own dysfunctional native rule - basically proves Plato's thesis on the natural slave.And you see this repeated in many other countries whose citizens are incapable of forming a functional state and society like most in Africa and the Indian subcontinent. You might find that conclusion uncomfortable but it's the most logical explanation if you're being honest with yourself.
