Why do modern southerners hate their own history so much? Richmond, Virginia (the very CAPITAL) or the Confederacy removed three of its last Confederate statues yesterday, and no one even tried to protest or stop the desecration.Why is that? Are modern southerners simply too demoralized/lazy/fat/etc. to do anything at all in the defense of their own ancestors?
