I was at the laundromat yesterday getting change and I saw this little black kid looking in the slot of a nearby gumball machine. She wandered towards me and watched as I scooped up 5 dollars worth of quarters. I asked her if she wanted one for the gumball machine and she got a big ol smile on her face and said yes. I gave her a quarter and she thanked me and sure enough got herself a gumball :)
