To ADHD Anon,Its easy to enjoy think your medication works when that medication is a substance which hacks our effort:reward ratio. You are inclinded to view it favorably.What you don't see is an external viewpoint, and outside perspective that sees version A without the substance and the version B with the substance, objectively, without any dog in the race. When you see it like that, it is almost always negative. Only nasty people who are abusive to others benefit from this A/B comparison. When I say objective, I mean objective. You can't trust your mom in this: she has ulterior motives for you, she has designs for your future which involve your total obedience & subservancy. You can't trust your doctor who relies on your medical dependencies for income. You can't trust pharma/media to make the decision for you because they prioritize financial and political aims above your personal interests. It's even hard to trust your friends if your lives are too intertwined. i.e. are you competitive in any way? Romantically? Income? Bam, motive.This is all from the heart, for me. It's just my opinion that people on adderall kind of suck. Same with SSRI's. It's obvious from the way people act. I'm not some accessory to their internal ride or some beacon to guide them in their internal haze. It's like dealing with a person who is always high on weed and prioritizing Not Feeling Bad. Or imagine someone who thinks its alright to be drunk all the time because being sober makes it hard to heckin focus on soul crushing, repetivie menial work. Of course you can't focus on bullshit and you feel like ass all the time. Imagine how your ancestors felt. Stop being a bitch and be real. Take a substance in private after work to reward yourself for powering through another day of gay earth, but don't take drugs 24/7 and whine to sober people.
