"Just eat rice and beans bro, they are cheap bro". What deluded thing will MIGGERS say next?

I don't understand the argument to begin with because miggers are supposedly all about how free market economics deliver the cheapest goods at the fastest speed.
Why do we suddenly need to tighten the belt and eat like we're on the wrong side of the Berlin wall?
>>
Niggers and chink communist are eating better than us

Because reconsolidating their supply logistics implies transitioning to more expensive, lesser-used chains in the interim, which gets passed down to the consumer, which affects the grocery budget of the, what, nearly forty percent of paycheck-to-paycheck households?
I have no doubt that the united states *could* conceivably transition to a self contained economic model. The question is why they would ever want to transition away from a trade model that provides so many baked-in redundancies designed to ward off the specter of food insecurity. Doesn't seem like a wise decision to me, but who am I to question the best and brightest of this current administration? ;)

>>541636167
>Highest prices in 20 months

So the price 21 months ago was higher and this is within usual fluctuations of rice prices. Propagandists deserve to die.
>>
>>541636167
Have you tried growing your own bugs? They're cheap and full of protein.

Rice, Beans, Lentils, Potatoes, etc starches are always cheap and healthy. I don't like miggers either but quit fucking whining you can't get grubhub and uber eats every meal of your life. The elites are right about one thing, and that's reducing meat consumption for the proles. Especially overweight Americans.
>>
>>541636167
This is what you get for being spineless cowards

O I AM LAFFIN
>>
>>541638094
why do you have to hoard food like a poor person?

did you vote for this?
>>
>>541637668
Well, whose fault is that? COVID price increases and inflation were positively predicted by multilateral supply disruption and emergency nation building projects respectively, which every single nation on the planet experienced. You're right, conditions were not the same; one was a cascading result of a worldwide economic contraction to stimuli that all governments responded to in relatively equal measure, and the other is the result of a deeply unpopular proxy war.

Right, because people historically haven't done shit when you take away the food. Let them eat cake, right anon?
>>
Fertilizer shortages from this retarded kike war are gonna be a big issue. 2027 will be a horrible year
>>
>>541636376
You don't. US real wages are up, that means food is cheaper than before if you have a job which is what republican voters have.
>>
>>541636376
It's never "real" free markets just like it's never "real" communism.
Those sorts of ideological debates are never very productive these days I think. The west in general suffers from an inability to plan production. Ultimately all economic production is planned. At the large scale, it's either planned by the state or by investors (whoever controls or can mobilize enough capital to make things happen). And right now, the financial system is unable or unwilling (most likely) to increase real physical production. They've gotten too used to dismantling and offshoring it instead. It's what they're good at.
But it's simpler to get into abstract debates about systems that would allegedly automatically fix everything than the nitty gritty of what needs to be done to actually fix production this decade. And it's probably going to involve both regulations and deregulations at the same time, financial reforms to make actual production more attractive to capital, and crackdowns on the wasteful corruption in various industries.
None of it is likely to happen so get ready to be herded in a concentration camp by drones instead (most components will come from China BTW).
>>
>>541638144
>like a poor person?
Poor people live hand to mouth. They don't hoard. Hoarding is for middle class people with a house and expendable money, substantial savings. And guns to defend it.
>>
>>541639580
I've always got a morbid laugh out of the "real" abstraction because they're just advocating for functional process dressed up in pretnetious debate. It wasn't "real" when it didn't work, but it will be "real" when it does work. Obviously!
Here's a thought: why not institute functional, proven system for once, instead of bellyaching over how your mislaid projection did not reflect well in reality? If, indeed, you find yourself capable of doing so!
>>
>>541639955
americans in the 90s didn't have to hoard food LOL

>americans in the 90s didn't have to hoard food LOL
There have been quiet preppers since the 50's and the threat of nuclear war...it's been around for a while. Mormon's, Jehova's Witnesses, Survivalists...There's a lot of them...I'd say it goes hand in hand with the gun culture.

15 bucks for 100 pounds of rice? I'm going to starve.
>>
>>541639043
Realistically you can do it on half an acre. But then you will be paying for fertilizer. 1.5 to 2 acres per person if you want to do it organically.

Right. And closing everything to ''fight'' covid, was incredibly popular.
Sure.
>>541638747

Growing it yourself sounds like too much work.

People still siding with Trump have no opinions other then "you lost tranny". Trump could literally rape and murder the families of these people and the first thing they'll think is "at least the trannies are seething!" This fucking orange nigger is the worst and most openly corrupt president in our lifetime.
>>
>>541636167
To be fair it's still cheap as fuck. Luckily for me I don't have to eat it, though. My girlfriend and I get by just fine but you have my sympathy.

>>541641467
literally ask any trumptard why are they voting republican again and they will only reply

>MUH
>DEMOCRATS
>>
>>541641467
It's mental illness. They're choosing to invite paranoia in their lives, living in constant worry over the fear that people are coming to get them all the time.
I can't even joke about it too much. I do genuinely wish the best for them, but that's up to them.
>>
>>541636376
Because the US doesn't have anything remotely resembling a free market. Do you know what those words mean?
If the state wields authority to intervene in markets, then it's not a free market. There's obviously degrees to this, but I don't think the argument could be made that the US is operating a free market. Taxes on purchases (VAT or whatever you call them in burgerland) are the real elephant in the room.
>>
>>541636167
you people better get ready for fertilizers shortage due to Hormussy cock blocked (natural gas IS one of main ingredients for artificial fertilizer)
and it was planned and agreed by both sides really, you see fucking play at world theater where Satan is director
>>
Hahaha, bitch what is rice inflation? Just fucking don't buy rice. Hahaha. Just walk away, bitch.
