In some ways mental illness is a memetic disease. It's spread through ideas and confusion interrupting neuro processing more than any type of chemical imbalance. So these creators explore their own hangups through their art, or, with trannies, try desperately to normalize their delusions so they don't have to admit they're freaks. They put these works in front of kids and 'infect' the next generation.
