5 years since the first SETF threads, and the horizon has not changed one Iota. So many confirmations of prophecy have come to pass since then, and yet the illusions of manifest destiny of individual will in resistance to truth persists, nay it increases. Multiple instances of corruption and coercion exposed to thunderous yawns of demoralized onlookers of apathy, content to continue in the circle jeark holding tightly to the idea that collectively willing prosperity without getting their hands dirty is honestly living, yet it is in fact inversion in deciecetful death. How does one agree with the lies day in and day out without doing irreparable harm to themselves and others? Spoilers... they don't. >"Surely, in vain, the net is spread in the sight of any bird. The fundamental lacking of understanding of the instrument of enslavement is the net. A rudimentary understanding of seeking and scratching the ground, hunting the worm compelling the bird to wander into it, unaware of the boundaries of the snare or how to identify it to avoid it altogether is it's downfall. Affordable? By what metric? Unsustainable? By what metric? Financial ignorance isn't a moral failure or some grave sin. The fowler is the one making the snare and laying it out, but as it is written, >"Therefore shall they eat of the fruit of their own way, and be filled with their own devices." What can not continue shall not continue. Not because it's unsustainable or unaffordable but because it's fugazzi. Smoke and mirrors, nothing but an illusory parlor trick. Want affordability? Return to honest money. Want sustainability? Work together to build something worthy of sustaining. And for Christ's sake, stop playing make-believe with the liars, thieves, and murderers.
Im banking on a hawkish Fed so I can stack cheap for like another year
>>541647578>Im banking on a hawkish Fed so I can stack cheap for like another year Like the federal reserve stance determines the price of tea in China? Don't misunderstand my point, fren. But public sentiment and faith in fiat isn't the only metric at play.Economics 101:Supply ≠ Demand Oh we're sure that the FED is gonna print moar, because that's the only tool in their toolbox, but silver and gold can't be printed out, it requires intermediaries of miners and mining companies to deliver for that paper. It requires people to continue to have faith in a depreciating pool of counterfeit currencies and to labor day in and day out to source shinies for our stacks. It's not like the birds are gathering them to us in the wilderness...
Every time I get change I always look at the quarters dimes and nickels to see if they're silver, but rarely ever see any anymore. Is there some kind of automatic coin sorting machine used by banks that selects and separates silver? Or is it just organically being pulled by citizens over time? I find 1965 quarters constantly for example but almost never anything older

>>541648124It was pretty obvious when they stopped putting pms in the money that something was wrong so most people sold them second hand or melted them down. I thought the same it would be cool to still find some in circulation but they probably dont exist
>>541648359Okay I looked it up that makes sense. I hate my parents for never bothering to explain anything to me about money those useless fuckers.
>>541648809>Okay I looked it up that makes sense. I hate my parents for never bothering to explain anything to me about money those useless fuckers. If you go back to my original rant, I said "financial ignorance isn't a moral failure." Your parents were decieved, so cut them some slack fren, you wouldn't be here without them.
>>541648991They knew stuff like this they just didn't impart anything to me. They learned everything the hard way and then didn't share any of what they'd learned to me. My dad had built his own business and hardly ever spoke a word to me about it or anything for that matter, just sat me in front of the television so I'd fuck off. They set me up for failure while enriching their own lives. They live on a golf course now and I take care of their parents my grandparents while they have fun being retired.
