>>541647404Both systems require population control but it would arguably be harder on a socialist system to implement, since socialism on a basic level is about preserving rights. That's not to say socialism doesn't inevitably limit rights through liberalism, it does but it takes too long to convince people that something else is more important and it won't be able to persevere, nothing is sacred beyond the moment under socialism. With capitalism you can at least incentivize people not to have children and aid in preserving resources, it's also a lot easier to reward people for doing what you want them to do, than to penalize those doing what you don't want so you don't run afoul of limiting rights.
