The police would use them for live monitoring for BOLO cars. They were not reordered. Then ALPRs came around but they were expensive and not tied to any interconnected databases. The systems could flag a BOLO plate but that’s it. Flock is different, as it is saving all information (mostly innocent people) and feeing it into a database that all Flock-using law enforcement agencies use. There is no deletion timeframe so any cop can see where you have been. Crazy stuff. Glock can be a good thing but as it is right now, it is dangerous. Every conservative should be sweating at the prospect of it getting into the hands of a Democratic administration. If Flock and governments were smart, they would come to some grand bargain with the surveilled public.
