I don't care about commercially produced fireworks, but such bans will probably also target black/smokeless powder, and chemical precursors. We already banned a lot of the fun stuff from decades past, but Eurocucks are totally locked out, they can't even get decent sulfuric acid without a loicence.

Don't give up your fireworks, it's a distinct part of your culture. Even just July 4'th by itself warrants keeping fireworks. It's hands down my favourite secular holiday. When I was in the USA I loved setting those off and then hearing people I didn't even know about cheering, and then learning about the American phenomenon where people are sitting around drinking and when they see fireworks they set off a bunch of their own which in turn sets off other people and so on.Also if you criminalize them this will greatly increase the black market for themAnd then more people will make them.And then more people will realize how easy it is.And then more people will figure out ways to expand upon the concept.
