Extreme wealth inequality is by far the largest single issue hurting America and affecting many other issues today. However, it is also one of the least talked about.

Why do we waste all our time talking about if guys should wear girls clothes, rather than major issues like wealth inequality?
>>
>>541658380
Wealth inequality is a fake problem. It doesn't matter to me if you have $100,000 or $1,000,000 dollars. What matters is how I live. Worrying about inequality is spite pretending to be politics.
>>
It is not that the super rich deprive the poor of money, but they use that wealth and power to advance their own interests at the expense of others.
>>
>>541658380
The solution to this and most problems facing the west is mass deportations.

Why is it a major issue?
>>
>>541658492
We already have mass deportations. It hasn't done shit for my wages.

Do I really have to wait 30-40 years for you to get them all before I get a livable wage?
>>
>>541658632
>We already have mass deportations.
When? Operation Wetback?
>>
>>541658444
incredibly retarded post
>>
>>541658671
Yeah, 600k fits my definition of "mass". I know Obama did more, but it still counts.
>>
>>541658444
Kek, the eternal anglo, nice bait.
>>
>>541658380
You have to deport the beaners. You cannot have wealth equality when the upper class get to have slaves.
>>
>>541658754
>Yeah, 600k fits my definition of "mass"
Not when there's 30 million plus illegals in the country.
>I know Obama did more, but it still counts.
Most of Obama's numbers were from migrants being turned away at the border.
>>
>>541658880
The most accurate number I have is 14 million. Pew research. And if you don't like the number of deportations, complain to trump till they go up.

But the point still stands, it hasn't done shit for my wages. How many decades do I have to wait till I get a livable wage under your plan?
>>
>>541658716
You're just a spiteful useless eater. If I work hard and buy a Rolex you think it's a problem because you're lazy and didn't get one.
>>
>>541658380
This is literally a non-issue. Wealth inequality has zero impact on your life.

The market cap of companies in the portfolios of people you’ll never meet has no impact on your life.
>>
wealth inequality is a meme. Rich people dont have their money in cash hidden somewhere, they have invested, fueling the economy. They also enable lots of amall business catering to luxury and related stuff that would never work if all people were middle class.
>>
>>541658767
You’re trolling because no American would disagree with that. Americans aren’t socialists
>>
>>541659105
>Wealth inequality has zero impact on your life.
Exactly. It's not like they can buy politicians and inflict their will on me. It doesn't affect me at all
>>
>>541658840
Why not imprison those making $70k or more?

America fought a revolution to kill a king, now we have thousands of kings ruling the world, the $70k+ class

You should be imprisoned for having a single dollar.
>>
>>541659169
Ah yes because donating money to politicians to protect you from dogshit socialist policies that will ruin your life is soooo bad! Those damn rich people!
>>
>>541659169
That's a stupid excuse for spite. Rich people do not cause political corruption, bad laws do. If politicians being bribed is a problem, change the law to stop bribery. Even if rich people didn't exist, groups of people could pool their money and bribe politicians anyway.

Don't try to legislate people richer than you out of existence.
>>
>>541659247
And the rich who donate to the politicians support better policies than voters anyway.
>>
>>541658444
The market only works as a consensus finding mechanism if the marginal value of a dollar is roughly comparable between individuals. Obviously it will never be exactly equivalent, nor should we try to make it be. But when you can wipe your ass with an amount of money that would change my life, the price discovery machinery that causes resources to be allocated in an optimal way between us breaks down. You become a functional utility monster, with the entire economic machine warped to suit your whims, because you have disproportionate purchasing power.

Like if you actually read Adam Smith, the whole argument is that the price mechanism allocates resources and labor optimally because it drives resource allocation to an equilibrium that maximizes utility. If I’d pay more, I want it more, therefore utility is maximized if it goes to me. Rising prices indicates supply is short relative to demand and also incentivizes an increase in supply, allocating input labor and resources to socially desirable locations.

Elon Musk has purchasing power that rivals CITIES. Imagine 100,000 people who want something and the economy does what Musk wants instead. That’s the price discovery mechanism experiencing catastrophic failure.
>>
>>541658444
Wealth distribution DOES effect how you live though.
As wealth (power) is accumulated in fewer hands those hands have more and more of a say in how you live, and they will use said power (because what else will they spend their money on?) to change society as they see fit.
Thinking a person having 1000x your wealth doesn't effect you is retarded.
>>
>>541659192
I could believe it. But the DHS own data puts it at about 12 mil.

So when do the wages improve? Or is it just something people say to get them behind the idea of deportations?
>>
OP says wealth inequality and a horde of jews come out to say hes wrong.

Yeah, worse worker protections and immigrants leading to wage stagnation has been great policies

The wealth is in the hands of people who knew how to get it hundreds of years ago.
Leftist political rhetoric is all about using disingenuous moral arguments as to why the descendants of those people need to "share" my wealth. It's grotesque.

I'm sorry I'm just... Not prepared to share haha - and if you try to set up systems in society that risk me losing my wealth, I'll eventually see you up against the wall where you'll be punished for your wickedness.

Enjoy your weekend, OP.

That’s a nonargument nigger, I’m sorry you’re too illiterate to understand how the market works. Bottom line is it wealth inequality is not just a symptom, it is a cause in its own right. Inequitable distribution of wealth breaks the free market. Oh, it’s retarded.

China is basically “what if Amazon had a national border”, you get that right? A monolithic centrally-planned bureaucracy trying to maximize its own value at the expense of its competitors even as it siphons resources from them. It’s wild to me that anyone would criticize one and not the other.

The issue is money is fake and gay
>Tax the rich
Solves nothing the government gets the money and then wastes it
>Don't let the gov spend the money, only pay down their debt
Doesn't matter central banks will impose at least a 2% inflation 'tax' that devalues the dollar by about 18% every 10 years. Then they give that money to bankers who are allowed to give out money they don't have anyway.
>So stop private banking from being able to print money and make the central bank the only real bank
Definitely a step in the right direction except the world won't allow it. The entire fake debt system is what keeps the lights on because there is no industry and all western countries are essentially currency manipulators
>Well what is the solution
Unironically a great reset, with huge barriers for corporate and private loans. The only debt should be mortgages run through a central bank. You also need good tax rates for wealthy into sovereign wealth tied to the central banking. Also expectations of huge capital growth need to be abandoned and 0.5% yearly should be the norm.
>>
>>541658380
Wealth inequality is fake and gay. Some people are literally worth more than others, take it or leave it. There is no pretending it isn't real.

There is a procedural need for people who are capable of pushing around vast quantities of wealth to create projects. The human brain consumes vast resources and in exchange it leads the body around in useful ways, creating tools and solving problems. High class people perform a similar role in overall society. Low class people do not have the resources to create projects at scale.

High class people can be sick or retarded or psychopaths or captured by various evils. When they start doing stupid things, everyone downstream of it suffers as a result.

That's why glowniggers like to target and pressure the aristocracy. By capturing one elite, you can leverage them to fuck over thousands of muggles. Just look at the war in Ukraine, a literal clown dictator has already sent millions to their death.

>>
>>541660413
There is money that is someone's direct wealth. They can do anything they want with it. There is also money that someone is in stewardship of. Farm land and factories for example are physical things, you can not simply box it and sell it to someone else.

Assets can not be so freely abused, at least when you ask a normal person. But under the british financial system all money is green, and there's a billion laundering loopholes and alchemical transmutations and black magic and their only mechanical purpose is for fraud. So it's a huge fucking mess. The very first objective of being a steward of money is to steal it. That's pretty much all financial crime and the collapse of the economy in a nutshell.
>>
>>541658380
It's not really about the pay. There's so many other aspects to why jobs aren't a good deal:
>hours too long
>not enough vacation
>no autonomy
>no meritocracy
>no advancement
>no training
>hostile management
>hostile hiring practices
>benefits are worthless
>college is worthless
>most white collar jobs are fake
>spend all day 2fa repeatedly
>most blue collar jobs are back breaking, unsafe, unhealthy
>take the jab 4x or lose your job anyway
And the biggest problem for employment is outside the job:
>primary education is broken
>marriage is broken
>housing is broken
>justice system is broken
>medical system is broken
>moral decay across every industry
>zero trust society
>nickel and dimed at every opportunity
>every single thing is a hassle
>spam calls all day long
>scam texts all day long
>spam emails all day long
>spam mail in the box every day
>zero privacy, even your living room is recorded and sold to advertisers
>your wifi router is scanning for movement and selling the data
>taxes going straight to corruption
You just can't live a peaceful life and have a job anymore. It's work to the bone for peanuts, get fucked anyway if any disaster happens, and get milked dry by every single aspect of life anyway. This country sucks and Uncle Ted was right. The industrial system is bending people to it's will, never the other way around. We are doomed.

Quality post, but I would argue that price discovery & efficient market hypo. only work in theoretical free markets. As any real market, by definition, cannot truly be considered a free market without regulation, free market theories don't apply to contemporary markets, due to monopolies/monopsonies, legislation/government interference and overregulation. A more important issue with wealth concentration is the reduction in the velocity of M2, plus a change from innovation/growth to preservation of capital (risk vs rent seeking). To reiterate, I denounce the Talmud, fuck jannies, gas the kikes, race war now.
