With a touchscreen you always have to look what you are pressing at. Buttons are far better since you can navigate by feel and don't need to take your eyes off the road. These things will only increase road accidents.

With physical buttons you can feel where to press without looking whilst doing other things, with a touch screen you need to focus on the screen.
