There are a lot but Canada is also very divided by social circle. I live in Toronto, and there's Indians and other foreigners everywhere. But I haven't actually interacted with one for weeks or months. One of their complaints is that it's impossible to socialize with actual Canadians so it pretty much just becomes all Indian/whatever group circles.When I hear of Americans with black and Hispanic relatives / in-laws / cousins that just seems crazy to me, this doesn't really happen in Canada on a big scale.
