Is the community of the internet gone now?Social Media is really about gaming the algorithms it seems.4chan which isn't algorithmically selected technically, though you can game a post to be on page 1. Well now the name bar automatically fills with "deleted" for some reason, why is that?Also the posts on the catalog, which I sort by creation date, they are genuinely slop. It feels like there is no where to discuss the aliens running the simulation or how intelligence is being distributed concurrently with RAM price because the simulation only has so much working memory. Or these types of things. You know how Ram Prices are directly correlated to the quality of the posts on 4chan but the meta-narrative is as stated above related to the distribution of intelligence being tightened.

The problem is that the community was made of people of a certain type who are no longer made at the factory. The kind of person you seek does not exist anymore because they never have a chance to develop into a member of the community before being assimilated by the Tiktok borg where everyone eats from the same sloptrough readily and eagerly before existing long enough to develop unique individual strengths and weaknesses that Could be built upon and compensated for through cooperation and community. In the past you could be the best cobbler in the village and gain respect through your craft but it's unlikely that the cobbler can also bake a delicious pie however that's what the person who is a piemaker is for. The piemaker doesn't fix shoes and the cobbler doesn't bake pies but both hold a place of respect in the village. People don't give themselves the chance to figure out what they are good at and as such are unable to form communities because they are unable to accurately assess what they have that would be desirable in a community or how to join one because they were never given a chance to figure it out before they started copying everyone else out of FOMO or not wanting to stick out from the crowd. The Internet used to be a third place, but now it's just there always on since everyone is connected at all times thereby losing the need for community since everyone has the same (lack of) skills (without) which creates an environment where no one knows anything different and they believe themselves to be connected to others by savoring the taste of the effluvium and rot served hot daily from the digital sloptrough. Additionally, people have less free time than ever before which hampers their ability to relax and begin learning of ways that are different of their own and the appeal of working together with others who have different outlooks and experiences that foster different strengths and weaknesses in each individual that can be woven together.
