This is now reality in almost every western country. Why do the people not see any value in the survival of their nations? I believe people learn by example and the example that the latest generations have seen is an absolute disregard for their individual nation. They were told to not hold their heritage in a positive light, their ancestors are described as nothing to be proud of, as terrible people. The achievements of their ancestors are completely misrepresented: "No, they did not achieve/discover/invent/build this through hard work, ambition, determination and self-sacrifice. They colonised, enslaved and stole." They are shown exactly how unimportant and meaningless their nation is by diluting it with an endless stream of foreigners. These foreigners are not guests, they are not told "make yourself at home", they are given the keys and a kind "let me know if you need anything else".
