Aging is only bearable if you have children. If you are older than 35 without children getting older is a mental torture, every year that passes is like a death sentence. You only see decay around you, every year that passes you and your relatives only deteriorate physically and mentally. So the only real way to look positively towards the future is by having children since you can watch them grow up and live your youth vicariously through them.
